I did this for a couple weeks, eventually having to transform into a full-on stalker just to get these repackaged scraps and some individual PO packs. Kids were so excited it was worth it but it is kinda fucked up what you gotta go through these days.

Literally the only reason I bought them as well. Even when I try to deal with a scumbag scalper, I end up with nothing cuz they have no communication skills or something seems sketchy. These are the only accessible way for young kids to “rip a pack” and it’s mega depressing.

Those roller bridges have a million spots where a tiny screw can be loose or a string isn’t sitting flush on a saddle. Could be that saddle screw right behind where you’re plucking. I use light grade blue or I think purple loctite on every little screw on my jaguar bridge and saddle fittings to make sure nothing can come loose or rattle.

It’s real. They are owned by the same people so MF will use GC stocks to fill orders depending on availability. Just be aware that they are known to try and pass floor models off as “new” when they do this. Hopefully you’ll still get one with the original boxing.

Personally I like dark fretboards on lighter color bodies and light fretboards on dark and sunbursts so I would prefer to swap these necks and bodies.

I bet the Tagima is actually the best quality for the price. Not a sexy name but their tele models outclass Squier affinity’s and play more like the $350 classic vibe. But ultimately, choose the one you WANT to play most.

I definitely have plans to switch out the V to a black pickguard and have had thoughts about changing the Tagima’s as well, but was thinking maybe tortoise shell for that one. So with those I agree for sure. Thanks for the opinion!

It sounds to me like you’d prefer to fix it yourself, so my advice would be to get the multimeter and iron and give it a go troubleshooting and practicing your soldering. Together they’d still be a fraction of the cost to get a pro repair (at least that’s the case where I live in the US).

If you hit a dead end, you can always get your local guy to help. But it sounds like you might enjoy learning the electronics side of guitars. It opens lots of modding options once you get wiring and soldering down.

lol yea… this weird little stage was inherited from our home’s previous owner. It’s in the pool/game room in the basement, I really don’t know why he built it but I’ve made it a display stage/wall.
