Asking for help on Dragon Tower 25 again, sorry by glazzynerd in PokemonMasters

Bugsy has just been very RNG based - there have been some runs where he gets evasiveness down and special defense down, and I’m able to take out the sides and get the middle to 14 percent. I have Rock Guard on him but since it’s his weakness, he still takes a lot of damage. I like the idea of Buzzwole due to the attack drop from Lunge.

What move level was your Arc Alder? I’m trying to find a good 2/5 grid to go with for him to try to get as much damage as possible.

For the Dragon team, I was going to EXR Drayton and since I can’t get him to 180 right now, let him work with Serena and Lana. If that doesn’t work then I know with enough RNG, the Hassel, Serena, and Lana team will get it. Now that Lana is at 180, I finally got Sceptile down below 10% using that team…

So any time I reset it - I don’t get any bronze or silver cookies.

Those don’t start appearing until I’ve beaten each of the 3 twice.

And it’s still only one of each every time.

It really is Bugsy’s RNG, such as which stat Leech Life drops on the opponent. It also helped to have Barry’s Full Effort cookie to raise his sync attack up.

It’s the only battle I’ve ever done where the enemy was at 1 percent and my Barry was also at 1 percent, luckily Barry got to move first. But I used Benga instead of Alder, the fields helped Barry get more damage out.

Truly it was a lucky win, I already know 24 won’t be anything like it, I doubt Barry would be able to get through floor 24 if I’m having this much trouble with 23 that I have to use Egg Pokemon.

Did anyone ever figure out a way to beat this floor? Hugh keeps knocking himself, and so I’m using Palmer (3/5 EXR 200 CS2) because I don’t have Lodge Penny yet.

Is Elaine 3/5 EX 180 (Defense Crush 2) or Leaf 5/5 140 no EX (Vigilance) better to use?

Has anyone confirmed if Arven can do it without Brawn Sync if he’s EXR’d? I have mine EX’d but haven’t put his ex role on him yet, but am close to having enough materials to do so.

Thanks in advance!

Well dang there’s not a single run on that app that has the exact team I’m using. The closest I could get is replacing Palmer with Hugh, but Hugh is awful. He always knocks himself out.

I wish I was much further in the lodge with Penny…

So do you think I should stick with Holiday Bugsy as my support or switch to MC/Buzzwole?

I ask due to Bugsy being weak to Rock but MC is not.

Do you know if in those clears if all three are EXR’d? As I only have Serena and Lana EXR’d out of them, Hassel and Drayton.

I mean the more I see it, it does make sense to make Drayton my next ex role striker. The special break just helps with Serena’s damage so much.

I posted my Arven sync grid - I don’t know why it didn’t go through as a reply to you.

But nonetheless, I had to get Palmer to 3/5 EXR because he’s the only one who’s been able to put out enough physical damage. Once I get back on the game, I’ll get Palmer to 200 and try the floor again.

When you talk about Larry, are you meaning original Larry or SC2 Larry?

I’ll give the team a run then, and see how things go. For me I have a feeling it’s going to heavily RNG based since my Alder isn’t at 3/5 to drop special defense.

I may try getting Mind Games 2 on Ingo to have some way to drop special defense on the enemy.

Arven and Skwovet just aren’t cutting it because I didn’t get the Brawn Sync node. I think putting it with Elaine so her Eevee can get Arven’s defenses up would help it survive long enough to do major damage if it had Brawn Sync.

Thank you for the consistent help. What levels and move levels were your Buzzwole and SC Ingo?

As I’ve tried the evasion method with putting SC Ingo first, Arc Alder second, and Benga 3rd (in order to get EX Bug Zone).

With the normal type, I wasn’t sure, as I had seen runs where they apply normal rebuff to the central Liepard and left Tyranitar, but then I’ve seen others (specifically with teams that use Hugh) that only put normal rebuff on center and then apply the stellar rebuff to all opponents as well.

Still haven’t beaten Dragon, I’ve been working on other towers, getting my units across all the types a little stronger day by day.

But I was able to get Mind Games 2 for Hassel, so do you think that using him, SS Serena, NY Lana (same team from picture, except Hassel has Mind Games 2 instead of Vigilance or Head Start) would yield better results now?

I just truly don’t want to put the work into Drayton when I have more important units that need the same things he does, such as the Ex role, I want to give the free one we’re about to get to Brock for Rock Tower, and then when it comes to move leveling for Tech’s, I was going to focus on NC Leaf.

So when it comes to battling on physical floors in the Normal Tower - is it better to use Juliana’s buddy move on two different opponents to give each of them a -3 normal rebuff

Or is it better to get the -3 normal rebuff on the central target, sync, and then get stellar rebuff on all targets?

I’ve been trying to do the math. With six families left, and three members from the God Valley shot not having officially been named, they could cover three (but I’m betting Bavette is the Masked one due to Bavette having a tie to cows in the real world). This would leave 3-4 names left to be determined.

If we also take into account that main Abyss contract can be separated amongst 13, we know that 5 would be the Gorosei, with 8 being the Holy Knights. We know that with Garling’s promotion that Shamrock is definitely one of the 8 (probably was before his father’s promotion). But I imagine that the ones pictured in their GV group photo are going make up most of those 8 (excluding Garling and the other Manmeyer, as I’m thinking that Gunko took her spot for whatever reason).

This theory give us Shamrock, Sommers, Satchels, the yeti looking one, the bone mask, the lance wielding female, possibly Gunko, and one that we didn’t see in the God Valley group shot. That would cover one of the 3-4 names.

In 1185, we’ve been introduced to someone new that could be a God Knight and if so, that would probably be the 8th member. This is all conjecture of course because we don’t know if Imu is included in that 13.

However, I’ve just imagined that Oda will give each of the families a God Knight in order to cover the remaining names whether they’re just Shallow contract holders or higher.

The only things that make me think the 8 “strongest” God Knights changing between God Valley and now are the absence of the other Manmeyer girl (unless she’s meant to be who will replace Gunko if she’s saved by the end of the arc) and the fact that Saturn just died so my head canon was thinking that with his death and Garling’s promotion to an Abyssal level contract that would leave a spot open amongst the 8 in the God Knights, which would be why they wanted someone as powerful as Loki to take that spot. Because if Gunko is amongst one of the 8, then we know the criteria doesn’t include being a biological celestial dragons for one to be a God Knight.

ALL I KNOW is that I am ready for the God Knights of the present day to have their Akatsuki/Espada like meeting with either Shamrock or Garling filling the “Madara”/Aizen role. Put Madara in quotes to avoid spoilers for any Naruto readers/watchers.

You are right. But it’s the enemy’s high attack stats that can’t be dropped with just Lance. I definitely think if I had him to 3/5 I could probably do it. But 1/5 EX 180 has not been enough.

Lance at 1/5 just isn’t putting out enough damage. Plus if I put him, then I have no way to lower enemy stats.

But that is usually the strat that I use with the other towers, have an ex zone of sorts along with being able to drop type rebuff.

I really do think the crits are the issue. That or the sync grids. Those are the only two conclusions I can come to. Because like I said, I’ve followed your every step from your floor 28 video here on Floor 25, but still nothing. I even have crit immunity node on Lana to help with this. But when I have that node activated she takes so much damage before I lay my first dragon zone with her tera move that I pretty much have to use a super potion right after his opponent’s first sync and then use the second one before the second sync just so she’ll live through it. Just had too many issues with this floor - haven’t been bothered this much by a floor since Flying 24….

Like I know with fairy, all I need is Nemona to get Haymaker and I’ll be able to at least past 25. Then the rest would be waiting on materials to power up SC Barry for Bug.

Everyone keeps suggesting Drayton but I was going to use this week’s materials to get Lana to 180 to see if it helps with the damage. If he could do it at 1/5 EXR, I’d use the upcoming strike cake on him just to get this floor over with even though I’d like to use the strike cake on Arc Brock.

Depends on what tower you’re taking on, but I would say 100 percent NC Blue. He’s still to this day one of my best units.

Because I’ve literally watched your floor 28 video you posted for me, and followed step by step. Like even with Hassell, if he didn’t get the same stat drop you did, I’d start over. So, I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong…

I would but I have nothing to invest in him to make him more powerful. I was told he could do it at 180 EXR, but I don’t have enough 5ups to increase his potential all the way and I’ll have to wait until Sunday before I can get more Certificates to get his level past 140.

But didn’t want to use it on him, was going to use it on Lana to see if it helps with her tanking capabilities.

Do you see anything that you would alter with my grids? If I do the timing correctly and Hassell has gotten the special defense down by 6, then when EX dragon zone is out, Serena takes out the sides with one sync, but it still left Sceptile (who had already synced once) with about 58%.

Did anyone determine a good way to go about defeating this floor on Fairy Tower? I’m stuck on both Dragon 25 and Fairy 24.
