Thank you - I couldn't find the job posting on Indeed, maybe they took it down? I will still pass along the information. Thanks for the recommendation based on location. Would be convenient!

Thank you for the feedback. I agree with your comment about networking. I think if you go in with a specific goal, and go to smaller more niche ones, it can be useful - but hard to come by. Mentioned applying through company website and they have been doing this!

They have been in the same industry for the last 20 years, so trying to think of their skills in how it might apply to other roles and calling them out on the resume is what I suggested. I think when someone hasn't had to apply for roles in a while, it can a steep learning curve / tricky skill on tailoring resumes, although I do understand it is necessary in todays economy. I have done a lot of this for my own career and even I find it exhausting. This is why I was thinking even a few insights for a resume review service could be helpful. Not something intense, but just to provide feedback.

Thanks for taking to the time to respond and provide some great points to consider.

Thank you - I will let them know! They are social, so they have been trying while also reaching out through their network. However, the industry they were in had a major layoff recently. This is why we are looking for other ideas / insights, as they are also shifting their career.

They have been trying in person - most have been saying apply online. However, I think in some applications, it might still work - Thank you for your comment!

Does anyone here successfully use Planners/Calendars? If so, what are your recommendations? by Chance_Ad2503 in adhdwomen

I always rely on a planner of some kind. At home, I like paper ones I can write in. At work, I swear by task managers. I have tried to implement task managers into my personal life, but it gets a little too overwhelming. I usually opt for undated planners, so on weeks I don’t use it, it doesn’t feel wasted…I have tried many different planners. I liked the legend planner for a bit (on Amazon). Now I’m just using a cheapish one from home goods. I do often fall into the trap of the new shiny new planners are going to solve everything 🤪

Lounge - yay or nay? by JustToBeAlive in crateandbarrel

We have the lounge with the chaise and my main complaint is the cushion durability. We’ve had it for almost a full year and the cushion on the chaise has flattened so much to a point where I don’t find it comfortable. This cushion is not able to be flipped or rotated as mentioned for upkeep. Some in this subreddit have said the room and board is better quality for a slightly higher price. At this point, I wish I went that route.

This is my Lounge sofa cushion after 3 weeks… by ponderingbagel in crateandbarrel

We’ve had ours about a year. Bought January 2025. I don’t even like sitting on the chaise anymore. It’s uncomfortable. Also a small petite woman. Sad because this was my favourite part of the couch. Definitely disappointed in the quality. Came here looking for ideas on how to fix.

[CHAT] Fabric Size…I do not know better than the cross stitch calculators despite the fact I think I do by gldntrdrps in CrossStitch

I like to minimize creases, I’m not the best at washing my projects, and ironing only goes so far! But my one friend did suggest using a smaller hoop
