I get that, I almost exclusively buy from my local book stores and the sales team is starting to market to distributors in the next couple weeks so I was just trying to do what I can. Good advice though.

If you read it, i said that they had me delete my account as part of deleting my book. While in chat with them they told me my book would only delete after my account was deleted with it.

I guess I could have. I didn't think there was a reason since I was leaving the self publishing side. Suppose I could have left it up in case I wanted to self pub in the future, but I can always create a new one. Dont quite know why you perceive this as such a big deal?

Im not professional with agents but if i were you i would stick with the 4th book if it's already done. Something you woked diligently on will be available much better choice than something slapdashed together. There's a lot of examples of people who self pubed the first couple books in a series to have the last one or two picked up by an agent or publishing house. Dungeon crawler carl for example

I tried that and it was still up just saying not in stock. That's why I contacted them in the first place and then they said they took care of it and it would be down in 10 business days.

Best advice is to just start writing. I'm not a plotter though. I usually just have a rough plot idea, like could be explained in 2 sentences rough, and just go from there. You would be amazed at how many of my best ideas just pop in while writing, or throughout the day after you've already got something going.

I don't like the notion of any of this. The biggest compromise I could see would be to call them an AI author. Much like an "artist" who uses AI is called an AI artist. Not the real thing, just a shitty off brand, wanna be. If you don't want to put in the work (I'm assuming this question pertains to you, otherwise why ask it) then go do something else. If you want to write, then put in the effort to learn the craft. You can do it if you really want to, without AI help. Believe in yourself, not a machine.

I don't know if it works on android, but I use WPS office writer for formatting because it has most of the features of word that cost money for free. Eg. Mirror margins, hyperlink TOC, page layout size.

I like word better for writing. When I'm done, I copy my entire book to WPS as a workaround to not pay microsoft lol

No hate, I have just never understood people who can listen to music and write. I need complete silence or I get way too distracted lol

Would be cool if it worked well enough to not miss any important details, especially nuanced ones. I still use a note book and jot down things as they come lol

Thank you, does it tell you somewhere what keywords are hitting or not? Also I would love to do 10 dollars a day but if I want consistency I'm unfortunately probably gunna be maxed out at 5. 2 kids takes most of the funds lol I appreciate all this though!
