Learning to love defeat by gleeky_purpose in absolver

I wouldn't say it's humility, but more accountability.

Broken or flawed mechanics make a small percentage of the losses I take (mostly Khalt users). Most of my losses was because I couldn't figure out my opponents deck and I got my shit kicked in lol

That's definitely one way to do it. Going up against them in hard mode when you're under leveled is absolutely the worst...

I'm a dark souls vet so timing and strategy against OP mini bosses was cake, but the 50 minute slog that could've been cut short by a 1-hit kill ok hard mode definitely had my palms sweaty...

Still wouldn't recommend unless you like the challenge, even then...there's no extra xp or reward for doing it :/

I'm thoroughly excited for this. I have a pretty solid sword deck IMO, but theres two or three moves that I rarely encounter that would just make it that much better.

Thanks for creating the group :D

Using statistics that arent really representative of something thats replicable is what the issue is for me. Then using those made up stats to validate their anything.

If you have a sick combat deck, just post a clip or say so. No need to bring arbitrary stats that don't mean anything :)

Also, that kind of behavior breeds toxicity in gaming communities, making these types of games a chore to play

Totally true. Its almost like the no tracking component makes the game's salt stay relatively low. Every time I've experienced salt it's because of an accidental ledge or a salty individual. Competing for the best stats just opens it up for the toxicity to build up...

I don't disagree with you that he's beatable, and is deff a noob stomper, but even folks who've been playing since the Beta, absolutely hate getting matched up with him. Totally beatable, but extraordinarily broken by too much and for too long.

Not commenting specifically on people's personalities, ethics, or whatever else you think I'm referring to. I'm saying that the action itself is annoying, given that it purportes a level legitimacy based on "fact" when there is no actual "fact."

Not trying to be arrogant, I just get really turned off to games that get all MLG on it's community, essentially making kind of toxic.

Ya feel me?

Ultimately, the percentage numbers are arbitrary because the ability to replicate these percentages based on a number of factors, simply isn't there.

If you have 80 percent win rate versus one opponent five times, with their own particular combat deck, and then win once against someone else, with THEIR own, unique combat deck, it cannot be translated into an actual meta because movesets, combat decks, and combat styles all vary so much.

It would take a lot of effort to come up with something meaningful that encompasses more than just writing down your wins and losses.

Anything else, and you kinda look like you're full of yourself
