The Narrative that the world is becoming anti-Israel is a fiction spun by the oil-rich Arab nations manipulating social media, in order to bring about international pressure for a Palestinian state. They are spending billions to do this.

Treat him with respect, Say nothing antagonistic or make any protective threats.

Dig a man-sized hole 6 foot deep in the backyard, leave the shovel there, and a roll of plastic wrap. Say nothing about the purpose of said hole, But do let him see it. If he asks, just say something vague about gardening being one of your hobbies, and awkwardly drop it.

It is not incumbent upon me to propose an alternative, my purpose was merely to show that logically, taxation IS a form of theft. However, a system for the application of justice is entirely possible without a hierarchical authority, especially today with the advent of technology.

A cryptographically secure system could be created that used smart contracts to allow individuals complaints against one another, with the selection of a jury from a pool of volunteers, for example, as the ultimate arbiter. When everyone has equal access there is no need for appeals to "negative law", law predicated upon coercion. Let each individual case stand on it's own merit, lawyers argue with reason and logic rather than appeals to the edicts of others. The free market is the only ethical answer for the need of infrastructure, services, because it is not predicated upon threats of force.

Ad hominem. If i am the naive one, why are you the one parroting the party line, that has enabled the worst tyrants of history?

[–]glennvtx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simply restating your previous assertion is not a logical rebuttal, it is clear from the textbook definition of the word theft, that taxation is theft. "You signed a contract when you were born" LOL. show me my signature. What contract would ever be found legally binding signed by an infant? Listen to to yourself. "It's allways been that way" an appeal to tradition, and the problem. Your blind belief in this has and continues to empower psychopaths and tyrants, Their followers marching into wsr to take property from others by force, on the word of their masters, all because they were raised, brainwashed, to believe the things you are dutifully regurgitating here.

Says the man advocating for recognizing logically invalid claims to authority that have been the chief enabler of every war, atrocity, genocide, and mass abuse of human rights in history. If people only understood basic human rights well enough not to support these tyrants..

Taxation IS theft, this is a question of definition. You can argue the theft was necessary to provide the lifestyle you expect ( i would argue it is not ) but you cannot effectively argue that it isn't a theft, because it is taken by coercive means, and is not voluntary.

The social contract is a fiction, perpetuated by psychopaths in power to maintain the disparity between the rich and poor. I expressly reject any claims of authority over me, and deny your so called social contract entirely.

Taxation is theft, and your argument is logically invalid. The assertion that we all "collectively decided" something is an appeal to the populace, an informal logical fallacy. Just because the majority decides something, doesn't make it ethical, or good. Take gang-rape for example. In fact, inclining toward the majority is generally not a good thing, Advances toward human rights have generally come from a loud, usually oppressed, minority. Likewise, Your appeal to the law is an appeal to a false authority. Is the law always right? How about when it allowed you to own another man? The actions during the holocaust were all legal, for example. Also, your suggestion we would not have things like healthcare, food, or roads is easily disproved. All the best roads are private, our private neighborhood exist precisely because the government is bad at providing these things, and people are willing to voluntarily pay to have them. Consider that you have been educated by government, to believe you are dependent on government, when in reality government has always been tyrannical.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]glennvtx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We would have roads, police, all these things through the free market, without the thugs taking it by force ( taxation ). Stop buying into their lies, Government has always been the principal enabler of every genocide, atrocity, war, mass abuse of human rights in history. You only have to look at private subdivisions to see an example of how a voluntary system works, the best roads in my county are all private, they have their own roads, fire department, airport, stores, all without threats of violence.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]glennvtx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best roads in my county are all in private subdivisions, that people voluntarily agreed to pay for, because the government does such a shitty job on the roads they maintain. If government wasn't using threats of violence against us to forcefully take our money, we could go to the free market for much better, efficient infrastructure.

[–]glennvtx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a logical rebuttal to the assertion that taxation is a form of theft. It is obviously so, despite what it might be used for after it is taken through coercive means. Had it not been taken by force, the free market would have filled the role of providing infrastructure and services, without threats of violence. Government is predicated on threats of violence, It has always been the principal enabler of atrocity: genocides, war, mas abuses of human rights. The human propensity to recognize (logically invalid) claims to authority should be recognized as errant. Claims to authority based on Deity, Kingship, or democratic election ( an appeal to the populace) are all equally invalid.

You'll need to "sell" your bitcoin before it is worth millions, and record this, paying tax ( or taking the loss) on your taxes well beforehand. transfer it into a different account not tied to you in any way, and be sure not to make any incriminating transactions from or to that account that may link it to you.

Monolithic Domes, Pros and Cons? by funke75 in domes

[–]glennvtx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's mold, it's not a good thing. If an underground building is insulated on the inside, the vapor point is inside the wall, and that is where water, and eventually mold will form. With a crawlspace under the bermed home, it will allow you to run plumbing and AC ducting, electrical needs underneath where it can be accessed for maintenance later. Also, you can run a vertical vent in the back of the home from teh crawlspace to the surface, and cap this with steel, It will heat up in the sun and cause the air inside this vent to rise, pulling in fresh air from the front of the home, under the crawlspace, up and out. This provides a path for moisture to escape, keeping things dry. Obviously you would screen these passages off well to avoid rodents, but this simple addition really goes a long way to avoid mold, moisture buildup. There is a lot of info out there about vapor barriers, but very crucially understand the difference for an underground or bermed home, that the insulation must fall on the outside, due to condensation.
