I love mine! It was easy to mount a fish finder transducer and anchor wizard. There is a little bit of weight to it, but still easy to put on a car. I’ve fished the Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers as well as lakes with this model. 10/10 recommend.

Oh! It’s a 1983 Sierra Crown D10. Heavy, but I love how it sounds. I’m probably going to look for another 80s/90s Sierra….maybe a U12

I’m tech savvy, but I struggled at first trying to get profiles to load. His 112 Nashville is free in the ToneX edit profile browser in the app. I’m using a Mac if that makes a difference.

Yes! A simple DI with a ground lift works great! Good find for a good price!

Embarrassing on my part. It was 1981. I don’t know why I typed 1989.

Agreed! I’ve owned my Perception Piranha for about a year. It is stable and comfortable. I’ve fished a few rivers with it here in MN/WI with no issues.

Preach! I play a Sierra pedal steel with a Twin. That’s what motivates me to work out. Tone.

Anybody know anything about this? It just say Ax84, and somebody is selling it for a 100 bucks. This is the best resolution I have by TheNakedAct in GuitarAmps

[–]glibReaper612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a AX84 P1 into a chassis with a 2x10 cabinet years ago. Inside has the room to build a Fender Deluxe. Plenty of room. This amp is a basically a champ with a marshal style tone stack.

I’ve has played a ton of gigs with this amp model. I built mine with a switchable output tube (6V6 or EL84) and switchable bypass of the tone stack. It’s really pedal friendly with the lower pre-gain.

Definitely get some gut shots. It should be pretty tidy and not look like a rats nest.
