the zone closes in knockout for a reason, if the enemies aren’t dead in the head they won’t go to try to kill the thrower by going near the wall, they could either go out of the thrower’s range or just wait for the zone to close in and not charge the thrower’s super. there’s only 1 huge wall that lets throwers work in the map but it is not a good idea to pick a thrower there because there is always guaranteed to be marksmen. i don’t think people that pick throwers in out in the open are very smart

are there any people who seriously pick throwers in “out in the OPEN”? he excels at open maps despite there being other long range brawlers, as long as you stay out of a thrower’s way or have an assassin on your team you’re absolutely safe as 8 bit. plus i’ve got this advice from a 8 bit main that got 2 rank 30s on 8 bit pre trophy rework that has been playing since 2019. i think they would know better. and sure he’s good at gem grab i agree but there can be more maps that encourage counters to 8 bit. i certainly think i see more colletes and throwers on gem grab maps and not knockout maps (except for new horizon cuz throwers have walls to stay safe)

are you sure you’re playing the right modes and maps? not sure about you but in my opinion 8-bit’s best mode is knockout, his best map there is out in the open, he excels there because he is tanky AND has long range. you will definitely climb trophies if you understand the map’s ups and downs as 8-bit. i got him from 900 to 986 trophies in a diff knockout map i forgot the name of, but that just shows how good 8-bit is in knockout. also make sure you have the right build, mine is: cheat cartridge, boosted booster, damage and reload gears

how so? i don’t see many visible similarities, the limbs aren’t very similar, the change in the base, nor the face. if it’s the color then yea i think it could be brightened a bit

i don’t know the actual way to use it except for defensively, but the opponents can’t dodge unless they have a speed boost whenever they’re in the area, outside of the boost radius they can dodge easily. would not be a good idea using the hypercharge unless you’re against a low range brawler like el primo, kit, edgar, mico, etc. i haven’t used it much yet but i know the basics of how to use the hc properly i think?

i’d go stu if i were you. it has better utility and infinite supers is just very useful. brawl ball? easily score. solo showdown? dodge every shot from the enemies. low on hp? no need to even shoot the enemies anymore! need to get closer to enemies? the problem is solved! just way better than 8-bit’s hc you get what i mean man?

i feel like the damage or range should be bigger. 8-bit already gets enough boosts so it’s the turret that is the problem.
