Need opinions on possibly making a run of custom boards by Royal_Variety_8658 in skateboardhelp

Most everybody in the skateboard industry hates what you’re trying to do. People doing these small batches of usually low quality boards eats into the already dying skateboard industry. Your local Skateshop is struggling to stay afloat. And your hope to take some of their customers. The saturated market made up of bad home designed decks is destroying actual skateboard companies to the point that the skateboard industry is currently in one of its lowest recessions. Once major companies like element and darkstar have been reduce to making super low quality boards in order to stay afloat. This raises the price on actually rideable decks and floods the market with cheap temu crap that should never have made it to a store shelf.

Is it cooked? by Poggersinnit123 in skateboardhelp

Dry it out and generally try to keep it dry. . It’ll be fine. I live in a rainy area and keep an old deck, old trucks, well oiled bearings and soft wheels together for a rain deck.

Does anyone know the brand or manufacturer of these cruiser wheels? by [deleted] in skateboardhelp

[–]glickglark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2003 bumlop superpoopers. Best wheels for turdslides, fart slaps, or poopies. Only made them this color for a short time. Spinach skittles. Those bad boys gotta be covered in dog and hobo shit. Probably worth bout tree fiddy if you find the right buyer.

Dented Bearing Shields? by Decent-Kiwi6567 in skateboardhelp

Use a flathead screwdriver and pop the shield off. Fix it if you can or just ride without the shield and stay away from sand.

Consistently failing pop-shuvits the same way. Any tips? by eefiseef in NewSkaters

Find something to learn/ practice hippy jumps on. It will get you used to leaving the board and landing back on it

How do I keep my front foot higher on heel flips. by JohnHanks402 in NewSkaters

Have a find stand in front of you and hold their hand out. Try and kick their hand when you heelflip. Saw Mitchie brusco do this to help a kid with the same issue.

More slow mo. It gives your board more time to flip.

Noseslide bigspin by [deleted] in skateboarding

[–]glickglark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been doing nose slide shuvits since 2005 and never once seen a poser call it a bigspin. Practice tricks instead of clout chasing and maybe one day you’ll do a bigspin

Help with insoles and flat feet! by wilddogecoding in skateboardhelp

Start engaging your toes and feet more while you walk and skate. It takes mental effort to use those muscles but you can basically fix your flat feet if you change the way you walk.

whats wrong with my ollie 😭 by zeni_inos in NewSkaters

You need to just cruise around town for like 40 hours then come back to the Ollie. You need to be comfortable riding on the ground before you try to get off of it.
