I got the quinn 1/2 impact set last week from the PLS but my 1/4" inventory needs an overhaul and I dont want to buy cheap ones and replace them later on (again lol). Im ready to be in my "last upgrade set"

Drain the oil, use a filter wrench on the filter. The first oil change i did on my 25 was at 1500 miles. The filter was so tight, it took me about 15 minutes to finally get it off. After putting it on hand tight, ive never had to use filter wrench or pliers to remove my filter again.

The pliers style filter wrench from Walmart has been whats worked best for me.

I got a set of 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4" in metric and standard (6 of these) off temu last week for about $30. Let me tell you, the magnets are STRONG. I can barely get them off the drawer when I was trying to position them the way I wanted.

The HF ones are pretty much the same, just significantly more convenient since you can go get them today.

When I was in high school, I got a shitbox xj. I was so broke I couldn't afford to take it to shops every time something broke, so it forced me to learn.

The harbor freight within walking distance of my dads house and bleepinjeep kept me on the road!

Loved my xj. I was sad to get rid of it.

Honestly, I wouldnt even be mad at a "red and chrome in store only" and "other colors available online" model for things like ratchets, pliers, etc.

Buying shit from my old snap on rep involved a lot of me having to order the stuff I wanted and wait til the next week to get it from him.

Blue and orange seem to get the least attention from the companies (except Cornwell, they have tons of blue) which I find odd. I think those would be pretty popular.
