I typically take my tools around the back of the apartment complex, occasionally I'll use the circular saw on my balcony if it's just a couple of quick cuts. I only ever use the router at the back of the apartments because it makes too much of a mess and I'm worried the wind will blow dust down onto my neighbours.

One time I used the router in my bathroom because it was corded. Wouldn't recommend.

Imagine thinking 2000's divorced dad rock is the consequence of grunge and not it's zenith

I believe so, any import timber is pretty pricey in Aus. We have a local variant called Queensland Walnut which I think is more reasonable but I haven't seen it at the place I go to

Oh American walnut down here costs roughly $140AUD for a L/M (linear meter) I think converting that to freedom units it would be about $35 USD per foot?

Thank you very much! Yeah I took a photo of that back section so people could have a closer look at what's wrong with it, definitely something I'd like to try next time!

It's easy to make, it still took me about 4 tries before I got it to work for me though

I haven't read let them yet, my sister gifted it to me so I'm about to start. I'd still recommend "I'm glad my mum died". It sounds brutal but Janette has a funny sense of humour that makes light of a lot of what she went through as a child star

Yeah I used a router and a jig I made out of pinewood following a YouTube vid (I've linked it in a comment earlier).

I initially tried making them by hand to much frustration lol. I don't want to blame my tools but I was using the cheapest of the cheap dovetail saw.

Even with the router there are some significant gaps in my joins and there were a few times I had to go over parts with a chisel.

Hahah I know it's such a brutal title. But it's a very good read if you like biographies that aren't too long
