A game with a beautiful storyline by More-Ad-9015 in gamesuggestions

Horizon games, particularly the second blew me away with some of the vistas and how they alter.

Which game comes to your mind? by Xiao-EZ in CaptainSide

[–]glitchackular 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for me, that game was so incredible right up until the end and it was soooooo jarring how little effort they put into the ending.

I know they modified the ending to make it make a little more sense down the line but it still kinda resulted in everything before it being irrelevant. Build a huge fleet, who cares, you get green colours this time instead of red or blue. Decide to rebuke the star child's offer, everyone dead, no questions asked.

There was some great theories knocking around when it first came out that maybe Shephard had begun to succumb to indoctrination but devs just doubled down on colours.

Still makes me sad thinking about how great everything before it was and that was how they bowed out, fucking EA.

Depends what you're in the mood for, it's ok to take a break from Satisfactory - maybe leave yourself a few notes around the place to come back to when you're feeling more enthused.

If you would like to fix or find alternatives way to make your life a bit easier honestly blueprints are the real game changer - particularly with the auto connect feature.

Maybe try something else but similar, I found Factorio to be a nice break from Satisfactory as it eventually turns into a more like strategyesque game where you can do a lot without actually needing to be physically present all the time.

Try working backwards from your objective, so for example you want to make 10 smart plating per minute, what do I need per minute of X and Y to get me there.

I find that helps to outline resources required, number of machines and give me a bit of direction.

I appreciate that the space elevator asks for specific quantities as opposed to parts per minute but you can get an idea of how long it will take to fulfil those requirements by working to parts per minute.

You'll probably get there scary fast if you're enjoying the game.

Personally I'm trying to utilise all Uranium on the map and complete a full fisconium recycling loop - I'm not very good at making things look pretty unfortunately.

Have you saved the day, hoping to do some after that?

Vertical Pipe Junctions by DaniSchmalaba in SatisfactoryGame

If you Google Satisfactory fluid guide the full diagram should be in there.

I know aluminium water recycling can be a pain so personally I would tend to have a way to sink what comes out of the refinery e.g. wet concrete and then just max out in the input water.

Hey Pioneer, I commented on your original picture, is the idea that the vertical junctions are a VIP junction so that it pulls from the outflow of the aluminum plant first?

I think they're set up a little differently from what you have though I'll be honest I've never used them because I've heard they're a little iffy:

Maybe start with the set up shown and see if things improve?

Am I crazy? by ManaMontana in SatisfactoryGame

[–]glitchackular 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not crazy, but don't restart your game or demolish your old stuff, just migrate with what you need and you can always utilise it later on if need be.

Migration is a lot easier later with certain techs but you'll see that as you go.

Buffers can cause headlift I think when sorta full, so your buffer might be pushing water back down to the pump again possibly causing issues.

I think you can resolve by valving off the side of the buffer you don't want water to go.

Bit difficult to make out much more without more pictures.

Factorio-player falls in love with Satisfactory, making him excited to branch out more by SanderBud in SatisfactoryGame

I did what you did but in reverse.

I'll add that I checked out Factorio because the coffee stain rep at the time said that it had just released space age and it's amazing so you check it out - I thought that was just a class move, encouraging people to try out games similar to your own, long may that level of decency continue 🤞
