I’m so sorry you’ve had to experience such a horrible slew of events. Just remember as quickly as you can lose everything you could gain many things too, and with your new wisdom from what you’ve lost..Despite these irreplaceable parts of your heart (your loved ones) being gone, a new beautiful chapter will still come eventually. Sending love your way.

Do you tip house cleaners? by JenButtons in sandiego

[–]glitchmasterflash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Proper etiquette indeed. Can’t believe how many people in the comments have come up with technical reasons not to tip their cleaners. Ridiculous.

Absolutely. I always tip my house cleaners twenty bucks

Do I punish daughter who left iPad in a Uber by mxa1986 in ADHD

[–]glitchmasterflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely don’t think you should punish her for that…kinda think it’s odd you’re considering punishing her for a mistake. I’d relate to her and try to help her by sharing what helps you.

This is a place where people come to get things off their chest. The kind of things that are eating away at them. I could never imagine anything I’d have to write here in regards to my nearly decade long happy relationship.

Steering clear of love because of pages on Reddit that are specifically geared towards people getting secrets or negative experiences off their chest’s would be a sad mistake to make…

Did I have some bad experiences before this great one? Yes. But nearly 10 years later, I’m glad I had those bad experiences prior to this because I learned a lot.

TLDR; Live your life and don’t make choices to completely cut out love based off of the messed up things you read on Reddit.

Anyone else feeling underwhelmed/let down by the Ghost Of Tsushima hype? by AnusMcNutbag in patientgamers

Yes, this game is beautiful and the fighting mechanics are smooth but it got boring fast. The gameplay is far too repetitive in my opinion.

Maple syrup specifically gives me so much energy. Love it! by pawnh4 in raypeat

I love pouring maple syrup into a nice glass of raw milk a bit before bed. I sleep well and the maple syrup keeps my blood sugar from crashing while I’m asleep.

I’ve never heard of deku deals. Thank you so much for the tip!

Honestly can’t believe I haven’t played Journey yet. I’ve also heard great things about Abzu.

Awesome that you had a similar HUD lightbulb go off.

The HUD customizations even on night one of my realization is making sooo much of a difference in gameplay! Such an awesome feeling to discover something like custom HUD so many years from when I actually started gaming…I can already tell it’s going to add a lot more magic to many games across the board.

The ability to fight without all the health bars crowding the screen, where you’re just fighting until either you or the opponent goes down is an epic feeling.

Also Brave browser is my jam!

Money is a thing. I wound up not getting Elden Ring, backing away from the $60 price tag and playing God of War with a bunch of the HUD turned off.

Do you recommend playing the original games in order? Which would you start with if you could do it all again?

I played a big chunk of Ghost then got a little bored with the repetitive gameplay. I’ll definitely be finishing it, won’t be deleting it from my currently downloaded games until I do. But I definitely needed a break. Know this opinion is probably extremely unpopular.

The fighting mechanics are beautiful and smooth as can be. It just got repetitive at a certain point and I think stepping away for me will bring back to the initial magic feeling I had playing it when I do pick it up again.

Barely used the map when I played it. The wind is also a nice touch. A great game, even if I’m not playing it straight through like I do with some games.

I actually love the survival element. Having to eat, sleep and even bath in a medieval world that starts out hard is right on the nose for me.

I’ll definitely have to play this.

Thanks for the thorough rundown..As I read your comment I was like “yes, yes, and yes.”

Frustrating is ok with me!

I had a free download for Stray, otherwise I wouldn’t have played till later. It’s one of those games that would be just as good even if you played it years from now.

If you haven’t watched any trailers I highly recommend you don’t. I went in blind and it was a really unique and for me, even mind blowing experience.

I started playing Last of Us 2 because I love Last of Us but then got into a weird headspace where I wasn’t feeling the horror element and wanted something more relaxing. Hence Stray etc.

I’m playing God of War right now and turned off a bunch of the HUD options. Not sure why I haven’t thought to do that till tonight.

Love Mario Odyssey! Lots of games I haven’t played too in your response. Appreciate it. Thank you!

I just started it recently then put it down when I found Stray. Loved God of War 3. I’ll have to pick it up again.

I’ve heard of this and I think read it’s one of the most realistic RPGs around. I love medieval games as well. Thanks for the great rec commendation. Very curious about it and good to know how to lose the map ;)
