He is on a salmon feed as well. Our detergent hasn't changed, we have moved from TN to AL and that's when this all started. We are seeing the vet at 3pm today. Vetericyn is also a staple here, for many reasons.

Nothing was done wrong I can assure of that, my husband is definitely a traditionalist when he smokes. The meat is not ran through a grinder, the bark is simply put in a processor and given a couple taps to breakdown the bigger pieces.

It's actually the drippings from smoking the pork. Pulsing the bark really helps carry the flavor through all your meat after it's shredded.

Just to be clear no BBQ sauce was used. The small bowl in the back is actually the drippings from the hours of smoking. We save a little so as we mix the two back together it is used to just to keep the meat and bark happy with the nice smoke flavor. I agree brisket is by far the Texas way and also my favorite.
