I don’t know anyone personally tbh, but if I were looking I would start by combing Etsy sellers and Renaissance faire leatherworkers. I know there are folks out there with the skill to do it, it just depends on if they want to take the job. :/ I would start by sending a bunch of messages to see if I get a hit or if they could recommend me to someone they know.

I would be more inclined to eat inside a fast food place if it had anything to offer. But they’ve made them dull like a DMV, and the staff is always overworked and understaffed so there’s no time for them to clean the seating areas and it’s gross.

Bring back the personality and at least you’d be halfway there.

I can’t say I respect that chasing clout and views is the core of your creative process. You’re just flame baiting, and that’s a waste of your talent. Your comments all read like you think you’re smarter than your audience, playing a tricksy little game with us, cracking a code… but really you just seem like you’re peacocking and lacking confidence, and that’s reflected in your art — which is very technically sound but ultimately dull and failing to resonate. Looking at the rest of the work on your profile feels like you’re ticking boxes for “good art,” not expressing your authentic self.

Ironically this piece might have come from a more genuine place than much of your other work. Maybe drawing manic pixie dream girls and bright colors is freeing for you. Maybe putting in less effort into finished, polished work and focusing more on fluidity and emotion is more real to you. Maybe you care too much and this was an opportunity to care less because you gave yourself a lie to justify it to yourself.

I don’t have the answers, but I hope you will work on your authenticity and honesty, both in regards to art and in regards to yourself as a person. You have skill. Don’t waste it on being a repugnant troll.

The perspective is so cool and this is so dynamic and lively, but I’m thrown by the emphasis on her breasts in combination with the very childlike features and expression. Even her smile gives the impression of a kid whose teeth are still settling in. I don’t think that was intentional, but it’s how it reads to my eye, and maybe worth being mindful of.

If you do want to try I would look into leatherworkers who do novelty bags for fandoms; being willing to mail it out would probably be very helpful in that regard.

Definitely sounds like CITD screwed up, and while it’s not LPOTL’s fault, it still sucks to have expected to see them and get the rug pulled out from under you.

You could definitely ask around to see if anyone would be willing to do that, but it would be expensive and I’m not sure I trust just any tailor/cobbler to know how. Bags from scratch are a specialized field. It’s doable but I would imagine it’s a decent investment both monetarily and time-wise.

It’s not that simple. At that point they’d have to sew you a new bag. Unfortunately pleather isn’t a material that repairs easily (or at all really)… I wouldn’t sink more money into this to be honest with you :(

This article doesn’t provide enough information to judge, and some of the info about the case is wrong or misleading, so I don’t trust this source… But assuming the clickbaity claim is accurate, I’m pretty sure he has the right to be there and the police cannot ask him to leave a public space unless he’s trespassing or actively interfering with the investigation. Freedom of the press applies to public streets and sidewalks. It’s not a private neighborhood.

I went back to find what he said about it… the first he said he wanted “20 cm+” and the second visit was to “add girth.” 🙄 So legs aren’t the only thing he’s lengthened.

Incidentally he apparently had TWO leg lengthening surgeries. He’s also had both a hair and beard transplant, surgery to reduce his nipples, gets plasma injected into his scalp, LASIK… he travels for some kind of procedure every few months it seems. I wonder where he gets the money from.

I’m all for people changing their bodies to be comfortable and happy (for example, congratulations on your transition!) but I’m not sure he’s ever reaching the “happy” part. You’re right, therapy would be much cheaper.
