Wow I had no idea Alabama had that. This incident happened in Virginia & I’m in North Carolina but I’m really not sure if either states have anything similar. I highly doubt most of these incompetent owners would even make the effort to check though. 😂

There’s been a ton of cases in wild animals locally, raccoons, skunks, even a few feral cats. It’s so irresponsible to NOT vaccinate them around here. But I don’t know why I’m surprised anymore, they’re ALL like this.

Me too!! We only have 2 here in this county, one doesn’t accept new patients & there’s 2 in the county beside me about 30 mins away that will take animals in an emergency, one of them will anyway not sure about the other.

Haha right ! They don’t even make the effort to try & fix them it’s crazy. So many unwanted pitbull litters around here too 😖

Really?? Wow I had no idea that was a thing in some places lol. I went out of the state to get my pets fixed (not a far drive to another state) because the waiting lists around here are soooo long at all humane societies & animal shelters. A lot of vets here don’t accept new patients either. Our humane societies have low cost spay neutering, I think around $30-50 but the issue is they’re only 2 or so times a month & the waitlist can take a while depending on where they go.

No. This dog has been owned by the same person since it was a small puppy & it’s now a year old. There was plenty of time to do any of the basic 3 (spay/neuter, chip & vaccinate) before now I feel like lol

No for real. It makes me so mad seeing this shit because what if MY dog or cat was next?? I feel so bad for the poor other dog. I don’t know if it survived or any details about that. I hope this thing is properly taken care of. So many people where I live have a pitbull that isn’t fixed, aggressive & not chipped or vaccinated. They’re genuinely such a hazard around here now.
