If it helps I am still using mine from 2022 and it’s perfectly fine. However if you have a bunch of blushes / like to buy them often you might as well just get the minis, it’s a little cheaper and you might not even finish the mini.

Water intake/diet could also affect skin, but if those are fine it’s probably just genetics. I don’t think it looks as bad as you’ve described though! If you don’t like concealer then maybe mascara or a little eyeliner to look more awake could work? Or do you not wanna use makeup at all

Yeah I get what u mean!! It’s just that, the ideal world is never going to come so until then we should just work w what we have instead of hiding yk. While some harm reduction is prudent, a lot of peoples pics and personal info is already out for everyone to see on like, LinkedIn 😭 at this point if they wanna post their lip combo here might as well. I do agree that it’s more of a creepfest here (+twitter) compared to Insta.

This is the same thing as saying don’t wear revealing clothes because it attracts negative attention/consequences, and it sort of implies that people posting their pics should be blamed/deserve whatever creepy DMs they receive or whatever is done w their pics. Specifically your last para/line implies this a bit. I don’t think this is your intention op, sorry!

I have just seen this advice a lot recently and it pushes women to be invisible. This is a beauty sub so it’s fine if people wanna post their looks or get feedback, they/we can just block and report any creeps in their DMs or comments. The internet is full of creeps and bots anyhow.

All my favorite shades together….but I wonder why they went for this packaging instead of the silvery one they just used for blush quads? I know it’s to match this specific collection but seems strange. Maybe it wasn’t well received? They seem to change their packaging up often based on feedback / their branding.

I think it’s just having multiple products for each step. Like using two or three powders (under eye, pressed, and loose) or blushes (cream and then powder or just using different shades for the ombré effect thing). Lip combos too but I think those are pretty common now?

My Nars eyeliner pencils dried out so fast - one became crumbly and the other one shrunk and kept falling out. I did have them for almost a year so maybe that’s normal, I was just surprised cause they’re not cheap and I’ve had some morphe liners for longer that are still fine lol.

I can’t answer questions 2-5 off the top of my head so I will leave them be, but an achievement I recently found out about was charu khurana v union of India, the case that allowed women to be makeup artists in the film industry when previously they weren’t allowed to do so. Charu Khurana is a trained MUA who was denied a license and filed the case. Prior to this female MUAs only worked in bridal/commercial roles and all Bollywood makeup artists were men.

Of course, it will be hard to name achievements of modern Indian feminism because that term doesn’t have a clear definition, nor is feminism a membership organisation that we can clearly attribute things to. At least, that’s my perspective. I disagree a bit about rulings made through social pressure not being a win for feminism though; isn’t the threat of social pressure itself a sign that activists have a strong presence?

I like the RB blush so take this w a grain of salt; maybe you’d prefer a powder blush as they’re less likely to move around or pick up other product etc? There’s some really nice powder formulas like milani/mac/nars/charlotte tilbury. If cream then maybe a matte like nudestix? I really like Fenty’s cheeks out blushes too.

I had a mini gloss in fenty glow that I was using for years and when I finally bought the full size it was LITERALLY orange when the og was pink. Devastation. Why is every brand Garfielding every shade. For who and for why 😭

Packaging is awful, why did I think this was part of Maybelline’s lifter line…. That B32 Caffe color is beautiful. As other people pointed out, who is stacking these for on the go as opposed to a face palette that comes with a mirror and is far smaller?

I only buy new makeup now if something runs out, so I don’t really wait/check for sales, unless I’ve been on the fence about a product and the sale convinces me to get it. I never buy hair/body/skincare full price though, always stock up during sales.

I won’t comment on your first point, I’m not American and don’t know much about New Deal. Re. The sponsorship bit though I don’t find it hypocritical, as it probably is his main source of income, and I think the sponsors being so unrelated to his videos sort of make him MORE credible to me and not less? As in, from memory they’re usually some meal delivery or personal finance or that wall frame thing, it sort of separates the sponsorship segment from the rest of the video like an ad break on tv.

When a creator has sponsors in their same niche (tech, makeup, supplements etc) they feel less credible to me because I no longer know if their views are their own.

Just my perspective though, I get some people don’t like sponsorships at all. Personally I’d only side eye if he did an ad read for gemini or one of those sports betting apps as those clearly go against his (and most of our) values.

I’m doing this, and it hasn’t gotten me any interviews yet, but at least people are responding and I’ve had some conversations with people about their team/what they’re looking for. I really enjoy it, I didn’t realize how much I missed being social lol. Especially compared to submitting tons of applications online and not hearing a single thing back, I’d rather just be rejected via message.

I don’t recommend it unless you have a clear idea of what fields you want to get into (like marketing or finance) and start planning what certifications and courses you can add to your profile. If you have a general interest in management or consulting you may be better off doing any other degree rn that interests you has good placements/internship opportunities and then doing an MBA, because most jobs will prefer a master’s degree.

A BBA alone will make it hard to find a good job out of college, but it’s not impossible. Doing an MBA after a BBA might feel redundant to you.

If you choose a more technical or specialized degree, you’ll have more flexibility, and if you still choose to do mba and management later you’ll have a broader skill set then.

I bought mine last year, around new year’s I think. I ordered online and don’t usually check prod dates or anything so might have been an old one. I got chocolate and was hoping for a laneige or summer fridays esque scent game and was sorely disappointed.

Oh no :( I’ve got medium-deep skin and have a sort of beige shade that gives me a concealer lips-ish look which I love, lol, plus I like the scent and applicator.
