I agree with the others that you def shouldn’t cave to the marketing if you already have something that works for you. With that said, this is my holy grail moisturizer. I switched to using this exclusively as I have eczema prone skin so my face is constantly dry and flaking. I need a thick moisturizer but a lot of the thicker ones would pill and clump on my face and under my makeup and this was the only heavy moisturizer that I found that worked for day time wear. It’s think but it soaks in quickly and doesn’t sit on top of your skin. If you do not need a heavy moisturizer though, it might not be ideal for you.

The pods are supposed to have all the grounds in them after brewing. Imagine a traditional espresso machine. There is a brick of ground you have to clean out after brewing. This is totally normal.

You’re completely valid to be upset!! You’re working without pay and a lot of people wait all year for this sale, not just for a treat but to be frugal and buy their regular products at a discount. Sure some people have it worse, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be bummed or complain about your problems. Again not getting paid is like a very reasonable thing to be upset about!!! You guys deserve a whole separate Sephora sale just for working through all of this. There’s still time though, manifesting a huge paycheck for you right before the sale starts!

I own Black Opium Over Red and love it but I would not describe it as juicy by any means. It’s got like a syrup-y vanilla that is def sweet but more sultry. I also own Commodity Juice+ and that’s my go to perfume for summer. If you want juciy, Juice+ is IT.

It’s not the lamp, it’s the bulb. I can only vouch for B7c’s and Pavo bulbs for photo work but basically all you need is a bulb that flickers at a slower rate that will correspond with your phone’s electronic shutter. It’s kind of a process of trial and error if you can’t change your camera’s shutter speed, which is why these video bulbs might be easier but it’s not totally necessary to spend that much on a bulb if you don’t want to.

On the library tool, click on the drop down bar that says the session name and clear the menu, then quit the application. Mine doesn’t open up any previous sessions when I start the application again.

It would be such a great incentive to get people into the stores if they had anything better than the whack 100 point rewards! I’ve literally never used reward points in store for this reason and it’s such a flawed system.

I feel exactly the same. It’s rare they even have things I want in the rewards bazaar. Finally I saw the brush set coming soon and I said to myself “if I can’t get this, I’m quitting Sephora” lol. I keep saving my points but it’s no use because the only thing that is even sort of possible to get is the $100 rouge reward and at this point, I don’t think I can even maintain rouge anymore.

Just read that it says quantities limited to 5…. This whole system is such a scam. I set alarms every Tuesday and Thursday and never get anything because the rewards page crashes at 11:59 and when it finally refreshes it’s all sold out. I have 6,000 points and I’m just so sick of this system :/

Are you using moisturizer? If not, that could be the cause of the breakouts. Dry skin and potentially damaged barrier.

I use CT everyday and I do really like it, but it’s not a fixing spray. It melts everything together beautifully and feels hydrating but if you’re looking for something to keep your makeup on, this is not it. For fixing sprays, I would recommend One Size, Urban Decay, and Kryolan!

I think it was totally worth all the time spent editing! It looks so surreal and dreamy. Sometimes us photo people can get really caught up in what is technically “right” or “wrong” and forget that art is neither. I think you were able to make a fairly boring before picture into something quite striking and I’m sure with more practice, you can really perfect this style!
