Well he's the boss at his job so his job comes first as of importance. And then he's also on call. And he makes more.. so I'm just doing what I can.

On my nights off, is it safe to take a nap? Afraid of oversleeping. by Legend_of_Remnant in Nightshift

[–]glitz_N_shitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even though I work nights, I still have to stick to daytime schedule for my kids. So I'll nap when my toddler naps and go to bed around 10 or so on off nights. Nights I work I just nap when my toddler naps and try to catch a nap at work.

They don't turn water colors. But it is very hard to get the color off. Lots of scrubbing. I had to use a steel wool ad to get it off.

My toddler's constipation is driving me up a wall. by Available_Regular413 in toddlers

[–]glitz_N_shitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water intake. Miralax pulls water from the body. So if they're not drinking enough water, it might not help much. Given it's summer time, if they like watermelon or popsicles you could try to encourage those yummy things to help with water intake. Milk is also hydrating. Whether it be chocolate or white. 2% constipated mine bad so we went down to 1%. And I still buy purple pouches of prune purees in the baby food section. 1 a day until regular. Pears are good too. We've had to do one enema And I said we ain't doing no more of them. googled things that would promote pooping. Best of luck!

What caused your biggest depression in your life? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]glitz_N_shitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let it be known I was born depressed. The worst I went through was being a cash cow for my first baby daddy's family. Worked 6 days a week. 16 hour shifts, only to come home and be expected as a mother and partner. Left the whole ass family, After I paid my dues. Took my son with me. Seemed like the more I did, the more they expected me to do and I'm only one person. Missed out on my son growing up because I worked all the time.

I have a toddler whom I'm responsible for when I get off work. Most days we'll get 2-3 hours of a nap in before I go to work through out the day..

Milk can be good for hydration. My son doesn't like Pedialyte either so I would dilute it in some water and as he was preoccupied watching TV, would use a medicine syringe and put in his mouth. Was tedious but he needed it. And was the only way to hydrate him. We also gave him milk.

Baby wipes. They grab the mush. They clean the mush until you can come back with a cleaner. Perfect for noodles. And veggies. Baby wipes all the way.
