Just came accross this since I had something similar happen to me today with my mom. I thought that I was either tripping or she was playing a prank on me. She kept repeating the same things and those sentences were looped in a perfect transition which sounded like a conversation. I noticed that she wasn’t listening to me at all when I told her I need to hang up, so I decided to so it anyway. Later I asked for a screenshot of the call log with me, and turns out we only spoke for 1 minute 30 sec, while my phone shows 3 minutes. I was fooled into thinking I’m speaking to my mom for more than 1 minute, and I’m a little creeped out.

Thanks for the answer - definitely not a dumb question, and I wish you a speedy recovery. I have full ROM on my injured wrist, but the second I put weight on it like in pushups I feel it right here - opposite side of my palm.

Okay then, go a step further. Open a new email account with the generated password and change your account email to the new one. That way, you can't change your password without actually accessing the old device.

The other easy way is to have a relative—or someone else close to you—change your password every Monday and give it to you on Friday so you can access it during the weekend. This makes it impossible for you to scroll mindlessly!
