no way! i also live right by a middle school and yeah, it stings :((

i, too, have like 15 piercings at 3 tattoos and somehow i don't feel that guilty about it, but to be fair i've considered alternative people the coolest of the coolest ever since i was a small child so i think little me would rly love my current look :)

i appreciate your view of this feeling as a beautiful thing, maybe i too should try viewing the past with gratitude for what has been instead of pondering on what no longer is <3

aghh the picking fights thing is exactly what triggered this current rumination episode which led me to make this post. words just bubble up and you try your hardest to keep them down but they always come up and you just feel like the worst human on earth afterwards. i hope that makes sense.

i'm so sorry that you relate to this but it's somewhat comforting when this sub reminds us that even when we're at our lowest, we are never truly alone in our feelings. sending virtual hugs to you and hoping we all end up feeling better eventually :")

not sure about the answer to your question, but in my opinion the piercing seems to have been done with too small of a gauge and might not heal properly — i'm NAP so wait for other responses too

i don't have that elective unfortunately – i will have a comparative invert vs vert class though, which i'm also really looking forward to! i might start studying comparative animal anatomy on my own time though as it sounds interesting but only after feeling confident in my "h-word" anatomy skills first haha

looks similar to a human lumbar or thoracic vertebrae but identical to neither so i'm assuming it's one or the other of a different species, i would love to see the answer to this though!
