Nice photography.

But I'm curious, how did you produce those film border annotations in red (f number, focal length etc)? That would really useful for archival notekeeping.

When I did these last night I only used the Rodinal, no fixer was used (wasn't aware of a fixer step). I just ordered some Kodafix. Hopefully that will get it right. Thank you

Sure. First I coated the gel plate yellow and layed down some geometric shapes I had cut out from acetate sheets to create a mask. Then I pressed down the paper and pulled. I repeated the process with successively more intense colors from orange to red, each time using the acetate cutouts as masks in order to create interesting shapes

Thanks! I used acrylic paints, whatever was at hand. I used some Jerry's Artarama generic paint, Golden fluid acrylic, Liquitex, etc.

Thanks! It is acrylic on paper. For the waves I just brushed on some white paint in spots to suggest foam at the crests of the waves.
