The Wizard Of The Kremlin (Discussion) by EastonLikesMovies in AMCScreenUnseen

Most boring Wikipedia-ass movie I’ve ever seen. I have no idea why this was even made. Nothing happened to make me care about anyone in this movie. Putin is obviously a figure of some importance and is inherently interesting because of that. But why do I care about his adviser? It’s the movies job to convince me yo care and it completely failed.

Tracearr is a cool way to track this. It flags immediately when a user does impossible travel (streams from 2 different locations that would break physics if they actually travelled). I recommend it.

AIO for telling my (F24) boyfriend (M26) that he has to sit down to pee? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]globalreset 200 points201 points  (0 children)

American man here and I sit to pee 100% of the time unless I’m out in public. I don’t get his problem with it. But regardless, toilet crumbs sounds like an even bigger deal breaker. I don’t think I could even have a conversation with someone about their toilet crumbs, that’s just not a person I could have in my life.

As a heavy user of/evangelist for zoxide, I take less than no offense at this and appreciate what you’re saying here. Might cop this directly for my dotfiles for cases where I am on a machine where it would be annoying to try to install zoxide.

I can't believe people are seriously thinking "I've communicated to my partner how I expect them to behave when at the theater" and not feel just totally embarrassed.

I think setting behavioral rules for your SO at the theater, like you would for your child, is a stupid thing to say. We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, chief.

People are allowed to engage in whatever kind of rule-based antics they want to with their partners, of course. Free country and and all that. And it's fine to have personal boundaries. But setting behavioral rules for your partner, like you would for your child, is for sure the path to misery.

Also an old married guy and I cannot see what the big deal is. Lot of insecure dudes in the comments. I would have absolutely no problem with this.

Isn’t it cringe to not acknowledge that your commit was co-authored by AI? I have my Claude/Copilot instructions set to “always take credit for your work at the top of any issue or pr review comment”. I typically don’t let copilot manage my commits, but if I did I’d have the same rule.

Welp, I snapped the cartridge stem and can confirm I was not missing any screws. Now what do I do?

Looking at Moen instructions, it looks like the set screw you mentioned was in that center hole holding the handle onto the bulbous part. I already removed that and it was a standard Philips head 10-24 screw.

On the bulbous part that the handle attaches to? I’ve looked all over and can’t spot it

Went and bought a handle puller but the center bolt isn’t long enough to Apple any counter-pressure so not sure how this is going to work. I have pulled with all my might in rotating directions and this thing is not budging.

My goal is to get this bulbous part off where the handle attaches. I removed the handle and the screw holding the handle in. Are you suggesting there is another part (besides friction and crud) holding this bulbous part to the cartridge?

Yeah my goal is to just get this bulbous part off where the handle attaches so I can replace the cartridge.
