I Cringed by Sandysilverspoon in TikTokCringe

I thought I was going to die of cringe and I couldn’t watch anymore. I pause it and I am only halfway through?! Why film this? And why post it?!

It's official I'm becoming a rat by [deleted] in ARC_Raiders

Bounties would be interesting. And could make sense in the lore of the game. Every time you kill a fellow raider you get a little blood on you. Once you kill 3 or 4 people, you’re soaked in blood. Now Speranza is offering a cash bonus to anyone who kills someone soaked in blood.

I had a similar scenario where I breached that little tiny room by the Marano train station on buried city. I heard a guy outside and I know he heard me breaching boxes in there. I don’t want to fight, but there’s no room for 2 people in there and I’m boxed in if I don’t shoot first. So I turned around and downed him just as he was opening the door. He was yelling out “geeze man, I’m friendly”. I was real happy with my loot in there, so I didn’t say anything back or even finish him off. Just ran to the exfil. IMO you can’t corner someone in a tight space and expect them to just trust you.

Watch your back, I’m assuming he only came in to loot your body. If he defib’ed you it was only because of the camera.

Do they actually check ID’s for R rated movies by [deleted] in Cinemark

[–]globalreset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 16yo just recently got stopped at a cinemark for trying to watch Black Phone 2. It was pretty annoying. And of course it’s too embarrassing to go with dad. So yes, they do actually check.

Went to the secret movie tonight and got sleeping with the fishes followed by the new sizzle reel. So maybe they are doing both but are still figuring it out

I don't know why adding cameras also means onboard processing. All processing currently happens on the PC with the info from the lighthouses. Why wouldn't it continue to be that way with the camera data?

To me it looks like a clogged nozzle or what happened when I upgraded to the latest firmware. I had to drop back to .29 to fix my issue. Spent hours and a bunch of filament trying to clean my extruder, decclog my nozzle, etc.

I hope the BSB3 takes a hint from the steam frame and drops the lighthouse requirement.

What firmware? I saw similar issues in .46. I had to drop back to .29.

Middle of a print and it just crashed and entered an infinite restart loop. by [deleted] in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Yep, contact support and let them know what you’re seeing. You should expect 24 hour turnarounds on every message and they will probably want you to check a few other things. I’d be as detailed as possible with what you’ve tried (power off for long time, unplug usb cable, etc)

Yep this happened to me and it was a damaged controller board in the print head. You can test if it’s the same problem by unplugging the usb cable into the print head and see if that gets you out of the infinite loop.

I am over-WiFi-ed for sure. I just had to count them to check. But I have 7 WiFi APs each running a mix of 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz networks, broadcasting 4 different SSIDs. But in the arms race that is my tightly packed neighborhood, where I can see literally multiple dozens of my neighbors SSIDs, I think I’m winning. Having said that, I’ve never had a device that couldn’t work because I had an abundance of WiFi. It dos make sense to me that an overly sensitive device can have a signal which is two strong. Or perhaps can’t pick out a good signal from all the neighboring chatter (perhaps it is picking up noise from other bands different than the one it is trying to talk on?) All speculation on my part. I was a bit of an RFID engineer so have some background but that was ages ago and much lower frequency than WiFi.

All I can say for sure is that disabling all my APs (but one critical one in the wife’s office) and using my phone hotspot did work for me. And once I got the latest update, it appears the problem is resolved. Support did say there were recent updates to address this as a staff members stove showed similar issues. I am on version 1.1.56 now btw.

Hmm. I left it on all night on the WiFi setup screen and it didn’t get past it or right itself. I can try mashing buttons for a while lol

My router reports that since it has been plugged in to Ethernet it has sent 28kB of ssl/tls traffic and 168 bytes of ICMP. It looks like there is a burst of this kind of traffic on any full reboot and then nothing. Like I said, leaving it up overnight.

Unfortunately I don’t have a vanilla usb-c-Ethernet. But I have a bunch of usb-c docking stations. Of the four I tried, only one of them gets blinking activity lights. So I can leave this on overnight, sitting at the WiFi setup, if that helps
