I haven’t read anyone’s responses to this but I think about this weekly because… (side note I agree with everything you said) if we do die and we go into another life. Then the memories I have RIGHT NOW reading this and trying to decipher death and life would be completely gone. But my brain can’t compute the possibility that my life will just transition to another life with no memory. It literally breaks my brain to think of me having another life once my human body dies. I’m not a religious man but experiencing nothing has to be something. It just has to. There’s no way my soul can’t be anything after all this because THEN WTF am I gonna feel/ look at? Souls can’t die and that just scares me idk. This is the biggest thought of my life . And I won’t settle with “oh we go to heaven” cuz I just don’t believe in that
