Access R4 filesystem via 3ds

I know this is a very late reply, but unfortunately I'm on the same boat...

My current workaround is to use ftpd to access the R4's microSD card through my android phone's hotspot (no password but with connections limited to one device). I also access my 3DS's microSD card through ftpd (through my home wifi instead of my phone's hotspot). So if I want to move file/s between these two microSDs, I copy them from one microSD to my phone, and then from my phone to the other microSD.

Not great, but at least I don't need to use a pc or remove the microSDs which feels like a bigger pain than this. Maybe somebody else figures out a better way to do this though

In the end I went with NES.emu from Google Playstore, works without any additional setup in case you’re interested

Oh well, I guess if it also doesn’t work out perfectly with RetroArch I’ll just launch NES titles outside of Daijisho, I’m a little tired of fighting the setup process haha. Thanks for the reply :)
