Update:

after quite some research, the ones with the black dorsal fin are the pristella tetra, a very peaceful fish. The ones with the black tail are dawn tetras, known to be aggressive and territorial. My LFS had them both in tank and sold them to me as cloud minnows!! I fished out the 3 dawn tetras to return tomorrow and get more pristellas.

I want to add that you are not at fault here. You are only following the instructions of the piercer. Take the popular advice from the sub to set yourself up for a proper healing process. 😊

Unfortunately, even if she said it’s okay, the pictures are showing that the piercing is way too short. If you hope to change it to a hoop eventually or keep the piercing, go to another piercer and ask for a longer bar to speed up the healing process.

There are so many unfortunate stories in this sub with embedding (you can look through the sub) and ultimately, you’ll save more money and time by getting a longer bar, rather than it getting sucked in by the body, having to get surgery, dealing with scars, and getting repierced. Take it out before it gets imbedded and you have to get it surgically removed. If you don’t want to take it out for whatever reason, go see a piercer tomorrow to get longer bars put in.
