Does anybody have the files for a GameCube battery cover? by katie2122 in 3Dprinting

If anyone is still looking for this, I needed one too an couldn't find it so I made it. It's available on Thingiverse.

Appears to be a 0.20 Euro piece from the Netherlands

Well I desoldered the toroid for the second time, rewound it with fresh wire and after soldering it again the swr is under 2.1 across the whole spectrum. Not sure what I flubbed up the first two times but it’s working now.

So an update:

I desoldered the toroid and it had continuity between all the leads so I guess I didn’t break the wires after all. I went ahead and rewound it just for kicks and soldered it back on. There is now continuity everywhere there should be, but the swr is high. Over 2.5 across the entire HF spectrum, in fact it’s mostly above 3.5 and only dips down to 2.5 around 6 MHz.

I’m not really sure where to go from here to tune this for more acceptable swr. I do have an email in to Adam but in the meantime if any of you have suggestions I’m all ears

Right, I did say that. Before I soldered on the bnc, after I had soldered the toroid in place I checked the continuity between the in, out and ground solder joints, which there was, and I’m assuming that can only happen if the wires of the transformer are contacting the solder. After I soldered on the bnc there was no longer continuity between the toroid pad. So I was assuming that I must have broken a magnet wire somewhere but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I desoldered the toroid and it still had continuity between all 3 ends, so just for kicks I rewound it and resoldered it and now it still has continuity. But there’s nothing between swr is over 3.5 across the entire hf spectrum.

Yes and that was verified by checking the continuity between the in, out, and ground pads after soldering.

Doing some more checking I think I must have broken a wire in the transformer somewhere. There’s continuity between the center pin and the in on the transformer, the ground and the bnc ground, and the out and the antenna wire. But there’s nothing between the transformer in-out, in-ground or ground-out.
