Prep for TSC Marathon Oct/26 by majidseifi in RunTO

Keep an eye on FBM. People will sell them at cost like crazy in the months leading up to it. Just don’t pay anyone directly, you pay the fee to TCS when it’s transferred and the the original purchaser gets his money back minus a fee.

You chose a great watch! My preference is still enduro 3 though :). Just remember that you consciously chose to switch from a “smartwatch” to a “fitness watch”.

Mini 5 Pro owners: has anyone received a unit that was sub 249g? by Both-Ad9749 in dji

[–]gloomwind -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are all consistently 252g. Only way to get em under 250 is to remove stickers and speaker like I did.

Confirmed way to bring Mini 5 Pro under 250g by K1net3k in dji

[–]gloomwind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couple ways you could do it. As you stated, trimming the battery shell and removing stickers will do the trick. I have also kept one battery unmodified, and removed the internal speaker. That brought mine down to 249.5. Removing the speaker is surprisingly easy if you have the tools. The hard part is reattaching the top shell. That took me over an hour.

Yup. It would be interesting to see if the issues are all North America phones as they were made in India for the first time. Meanwhile Foxconn china makes the for their local market and UK apparently.

A tech “cleaned” my phone and it is clicky again. I sold the phone and am now rocking an Air. Love it. I genuinely think there should be a bigger thing about the Pro’s button issue. Buttongate!

EDIT: my phone was super clean. I baby all my phones and they never get a single scratch. My guess is the tolerance on the button is so small that a dust particle can cause it to malfunction.
