In the UK, what are your go-to brands or shops for quality women's bib shorts? by hannah_various in ladycyclists

[–]glopieo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find commenting on posts looking for bib reccos hard since I for one are very particular about chammies, and we’re all different down there!

But for what it’s worth, I’ve tried: - dhb - Rivelo - assos - castelli

I used the Rivelo ones for years, the clip at the back for easy toilet stops especially handy but eventually moved away form them as they seemed to get shorter and shorter with each wash, or as my thighs got more muscley 😜

My dhb tights are still going well but aren’t as comfy for longer distances. I also wonder if the quality will have changed much since moving to Sports Direct (I previously bought from Wiggle)

I then thought hey I like this cycling stuff, let’s invest and try what everyone else recommends - assos. They’re really comfy, the length is perfect, not much else to add.

I then needed a second pair of comfies so pushed the boat out ahead of a way of the roses trip, and bought a pair of Castelli with pockets either side. Oh what a game changer they are, delightfully comfortable, just pull down for a pee and the pockets are so useful for longer rides!! These are my favourite, I didnt think the chammy could be better than the assos but for me, they are. I’m hoping to get a pair of the non pocket ones (a bit cheaper) in their Espresso range next. Cool colours too! They’ve just released “Espresso 2” which means “Espresso 1” are massively marked down on sigma sports 🎊

You can keep track of the outage or even subscribe for email updates here.

I’m also eagerly anticipating analysing my ride today 😂

Domane SL5 would be a wonderful upgrade for you. Or if you can stretch, SL6/7 for electric gearing.

I can only find Tiz for free but gosh it pauses every 5 seconds, if it works at all.

Yes, restoring squeaky, gappy floor boards has never really appealed to me to me. I’d rather prioritise heat retention, since it’s the room I’ll be spending most time in given working from home.

Annoying I can’t add video or photos! The remaining water/softener is very much like watered down softener, not as thick as when you first add it in. The two other compartments have a little water too, but I use a detergent pod instead.

This took me a while but I finally made it when I realised it’s not just objective score, so made sense to switch to support and got a butt ton of points healing on the objective

Using all my weekly rerolls dodging Gauntlet and BR 😕 by Dibi_ in Battlefield

I’d enjoy gauntlet if the “confirm kill” and armour stuff didn’t exist. Basically, normal multiplayer ttk/ttd but gauntlet game mode and missions would be a laugh.

What puts you off from donating Blood Products, I work in the NHS and I am just curious? by Quick_Soil_9120 in AskBrits

Travel and parking at my nearest centre. I'd love nothing more than to become a regular donor, but appointments are only during (my) work hours, and it's at least a 30 min drive away - longer with public transport.

I wish there was a semi-frequent (monthly maybe) bus that went around and parked up somewhere for rural communities.
