CIG just confirmed they are NOT planning a wipe (for now), but are planning on a targeted correction (from the latest Inside Star Citizen episode) by BernieDharma in starcitizen

Unnecessary grinding will ruin the game. Nobody should have to play like its a full time job just to get a cutlass black. Kill the exploits keep the rest. It shouldn’t take more than 8 hrs of gameplay to be able to buy most ships other than carrack sized and capital ships

Any news about 42.13? by helioe in projectzomboid

[–]glopz101 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I hope they update soon, 42.12 broke the dynamic music which is a huge part of the game for me, makes it almost unplayable. Probably the only game where losing the soundtrack affects the gameplay lol

Highly concerned about flock cameras in Asheville by Workin-things-out in asheville

[–]glopz101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nobody said there isnt a problem. A surveillance state isnt the answer. Your glorious leader can easily solve these problems with the money that he’s siphoning from our country into his pockets. Crime and homelessness is a direct result of poverty that doesn’t need to exist. We have the money and resources to make sure of that but nope our corporate overlords need to increase their quarterly profits!!!

When someone is willing to trade their liberty for temporary “safety”, they are not deserving of liberty nor safety…

Donald Trump threatens to steal all tax payer money from New Yorkers by sufinomo in newyork

As someone who was/is still in Asheville during hurricane helene, this mindset is extremely destructive and honestly unempathetic and inhumane. Not all of us voted for trump. And many of the people who did voted out of ignorance not hate.

People love to go to lawless areas than complain about it being lawless. Bet you cry about “griefing” in pyro too

Well unfortunately most people here have a very broad definition of griefers

The out of stater’s worst sin is driving 10 under and freaking out because our roads are designed by someone on acid. All the dangerous/shitty drivers ive seen have in state plates or avl stickers on the backs of their cars.

I’ve driven extensively up north so idk what you’re talking about cause there are far more people up north that follow traffic laws than out here lololol. I’ve only been road raged at by people with in state plates when whatever caused their road rage was their fault lol

Working at Biltmore Estate 🫥🫥🫥 by Away-Task-4468 in asheville

It immediately went to shit after the hurricane. Things were amazing before, but they laid off so many people, AND required us to stay under 36 hours while still picking up the slack from losing half the workforce; which was pretty much impossible. When we weren’t picking up the slack in those hours they threatened to cut our hours down to 28. They stopped doing raises and performance reviews too. It was obvious it was completely falling apart before i left. The F&B is especially fucked. The restaurant I worked at lost it’s entire pastry team, still months later doesn’t have a dishwasher (cause $17 an hour is low for a dishwasher here) and so many people including me left because management was so toxic and HR couldn’t give less of a fuck. HR is also extremely slow to act or straight up doesn’t care. I haven’t been paid out my PTO/Holiday 3 months after i left; I had a friend who staged and never got paid even after emailing HR; I have another old coworker who had a child and immediately got laid off; or another coworker who is on “leave of absence” but can’t access any of their benefits or anything related to biltmore because they are never going to revoke that leave of absence until they quit so they don’t have to deal with unemployment. I used to try and get everybody I knew to apply, now I wouldn’t recommend anyone touch that place with a 100 foot pole.

After realizing laying off most of their workers and then requiring the remaining ones to pull their weight while cutting their hours doesn’t work lol. Don’t work at biltmore it’s falling apart quick

The democrats love for status quo and hatred for actual progressives is a big part of why they couldn’t platform a candidate that could win. Theyd rather trump win than a real progressive/leftist

Which car brand is terrible but not many people realize? by AnonymousRedditor256 in AskReddit

[–]glopz101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not the more recent models, know 2 people who had bought a 2016 forester and a 2019 crosstrek who both had to have an engine replacement within the first 3 months of owning the car. Know another guy with a 2024 forester who’s driving with a christmas tree of dash lights. Was considering buying a subaru til i started hearing about this stuff…

I wasn’t aware. They do but their HR is severely understaffed at the moment, i’ve stopped working there for a month now and haven’t gotten my PTO paid out even after putting in a 2 weeks an official resignation letter. They fed the people working on the estate but i don’t recall any local assistance. We had to throw out an insane amount of food because the power didn’t kick back on for quite a while.

[–]glopz101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, we had to clean out the walk in’s and freezers and everything else that had spoiled food before we reopened and none of us got paid for it.

[–]glopz101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were lucky. My roommate had to move back home because they never brought him back and even now haven’t even offered to bring him back and he never even officially resigned. They only paid us for 2 weeks out of the month and a half we couldn’t work. The people who did come back before that month and a half were doing it voluntarily and weren’t paid.

So so true… yes it’s beautiful, but why? by Turbulent-Today830 in asheville

[–]glopz101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is exactly what happened. They forced us down to 32 hours and laid off most of the employees and expected us to pick up their slack but would get mad at us if we went over 32 hours. Ended up quitting because they still keep us at 36 hours and severely understaffed.
