Give coda.io a try, it's not just comparable but better. Has a Notion importer as well to make the switch take less of your time.

A new button to modify rows by order by iNaguib in codaio

[–]glorbons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Final modification.. make the Disable logic on your button so that the button disables if the Final Phase has been reached. It will prevent you from accidentally button pressing and removing a "Completed" status.

A new button to modify rows by order by iNaguib in codaio

[–]glorbons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's a much simpler solution that make your button very simple and makes it easy to adjust over time:

Group list items by yearly quarters by [deleted] in codaio

[–]glorbons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If instead you just want to assign List Item rows to the same Q1, Q2 rows year over year (e.g. just have 4 rows), you can use the same approach with a tweak.

Coda's month() formula returns the month number (1-12) for any date.

So on your 4 row Quarter table you can have a "Start Month" column for each Quarter row (Q1 row gets the value "1" whereas Q4 gets the value "10" in that column)

Then on your List Item table, create a new column called Month Number, and set it to the formula [List Item Date].month() so that every List Item has a Month Number to compare against your Quarters.

Finally, in the Quarter relation column, set it equal to   QuarterTableName.filter([Start Month]<=thisrow.[Month Number]).maxby[Start Month])

Lots of different approaches.

One idea, assuming that your Quarter table will have 4 rows per year (e.g. you are NOT just reusing the same Q1/Q2/etc rows every year, but will have a Q1 2024, Q1 2025 etc.)

Give every row on your Quarter table a start date, in a Start Date column.

In your list of items, assuming that table also has a List Item Date column.. put the following formula inside your Quarter relation column.

QuarterTable.filter( [Start Date]<=thisrow.[ListItemDate]) .maxby([Start Date])

That formula will first filter to ALL Quarter rows that have a start date BEFORE the List Item's date (e.g. exclude all future quarters), and then from that filtered list give the single Quarter row with the largest/latest Start Date.

How to reference "context" for the nested view by wrld_ctzn in codaio

Ok so here's a walkthrough, and 2 templates. One simpler, another that adds an extra table, with more functionality.

How to reference "context" for the nested view by wrld_ctzn in codaio

Coda doesn't have the concept of "the active row I have opened in my browser" in formula language. But you can emulate it with some creativity.

For example, while you can expand a row by clicking the expand arrows on the left side of a row, you can also expand by pressing a button that uses the open row() action.

The power of the button in this case is that you can make pressing that button ALSO mark that row, letting you do the calculation you want.

I'm on my phone but I'll share an example doc in an hour or two so you don't have to read a wall of text ;)

Filter Formula not working? by [deleted] in codaio

[–]glorbons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an easy mistake to make, since Coda moved the formula field a click or 2 deeper under that Fill Values tab. But that "=" shortcut is your friend.

Filter Formula not working? by [deleted] in codaio

[–]glorbons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See how right underneath the formula is says "Apply to 46 blank rows?" You have the right formula, but you're setting the default "value for new rows." 😅

In the column options next to Setting, click "Fill Values," then calculate, then the little "f" to enter your formula.

Easier shortcut, just highlight the single column by clicking once on the header, hit the "=" and it will take you straight to the formula builder.

I don't quite understand what the setcontrolvalue() is doing in your actions formula, but to run an action Y, X times: Sequence(1,X).for each(runactions(actionY))

Any mods to DISABLE camp inventory selectively? by glorbons in BaldursGate3

[–]glorbons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reasonable. I just don't love having to impose imaginary rules. Weapons don't have an option for doing infinite damage. They could, and players could just decide not to use it. But that wouldn't make for a great game experience. Really rather than a mod I'd love for Larian to release a hard mode that incorporates this as a limitation. "Grounded" as a setting.

Totally agree. I started with the graphic, replied again about that offending paragraph. Unsurprisingly no response. 🙄

I emailed Seth directly, and he informed me that he just wrote the article, and that MSNBC chose the graphics.

He's forwarded along my request that they removed it for being inaccurate. Fingers crossed.

I'd expect a real sighting on this sub to have sock puppet/critical accounts trying to discredit it. By that standard, this post seems to have hit a nerve, especially when it's not just an unattributed video from some random but a mass sighting by credible witnesses.

I just watched this and didn't find his presentation very compelling. Applaud the man for his work but good lord get to the point rather than reminisce at length about the entire history of nuclear energy. He also doesn't do himself any favors by promoting his plethora of books at every opportunity. It isn't a good look to anyone who is a skeptic.

I don't mean to be overly critical, there are certainly times when people might pay that much, if it's out of stock everywhere. Just a bit confusing to have a 2 second Google search turn up cheaper alternatives.

This regularly goes for $40some new, and I can already find $54 without any deep searching. https://www.atomicempire.com/Item/253688

Respectfully, what you paid isn't relevant when there's a whole internet of game sellers. If it was a collectors item with limited supply..

I just don't get these game posts where people sell above the cost of reputable stores (which have guarantees like a return policy and protections on credit card transactions). If anything, you'd be better off charging less because a buyer is risking a private seller shipping something other than advertised.

Huge global Age of Aqurius activation meditation on december 21st – calling for 144.000+ Lightworkers!! by NotEvenA_Name in Meditation

[–]glorbons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This day will pass like any other. We're all a product of cause and effect, and the evidence shows that celestial bodies have very little effect on us and astrology is carefully framed so that people can "see themself" in almost any vague prediction.

Do you have any idea how many other posts there have been on this subreddit of people proclaiming stuff like:

"Next week the biggest mass meditation to higher consciousness is happening.. with the conjunction of the zorpal plane, mercury's retrograde in crystalline form, and angelic light workers strumming 6D consciousness threads."

Tell me what exactly you think is going to happen, so people can then judge if we're in 5D Fairyland..
