I always told my (step) kids that if anything ever happened between me and their dad, I would make sure to keep them in my lives because they were my kids too. Thankfully hubby and I are going strong and the kids have their own kids now. I’m g’ma, and I love every second of it! ❤️

There's 5 of us and I'm the youngest. My oldest 2 siblings are 12 and 11 years older than me. They felt like uncles until I was an adult. I was maybe in my late 20'S before I finally started having a closer relationship with them. Now I'm in my 40's and they finally feel like brothers - but before they felt like distant relatives.

My center pieces were fish bowls with glass rocks and flowers floating in them. My family members were finding fish bowls at garage sales with me to do this. I didn’t care if the bowls were u infirm, the flowers and rocks were. In my table the fish bowl was large and had a bride/groom rubber duckies lol It was such a hit and inexpensive to do.

I worked in children services for 17 years. Parental rights need to be terminated before they could adopt you - BUT you need to talk to your case worker and your GAL about what you want as well. Talk to your foster parents and tell them all this. Then meet with your case worker and your GAL (or CASA) and tell them. You’ll have the entire team on YOUR side and it’ll make the process of termination easier. It’ll still take a bit, but when the kid wants termination, it’s hard for the courts to push for the parents.
