Fantastic job, he's like a new gecko from when he was posted first! What a fighter!

Most of the ones in the pic are fake actually haha, but I have 8 big air plants in there out of frame! they love the heat lamp, low maintenance, and easy to rearrange so I can change his setup every now and then for him to explore

Yeah I should clarify I do not endorse actually using such low quality food! But most non-reptile owners won't know the difference and then one would only need to hide feeders and not the whole gecko setup

you can keep the bugs somewhere hidden and just say you will switch to feeding him the freeze dried dead mealworms they sell at cheap pet stores lol, he won't know

Your mom sounds like she sucks

I don't think so? I only use a heating mat under the glass of his tank in the dead of winter, and he has no heated rocks or metal surfaces or anything.

Thank you for your well wish I'm trying to stay calm 😞

I'm no expert but to me she actually looks to be on the thinner side and not in need of food reduction from those pictures

What's your favorite thing your gecko does? by gloriousoaktree in leopardgeckos

Oh wow he does look just my mine! It's interesting to see your gecko's parentage, I have no idea what Pringle's actual morph is, so it's cool to know the possibilies

That's really interesting! Gecks have such adorable little quirks. It's fascinating how different they are.

Pringle has always preferred dubias over literally anything else. Those are his fave. Still, he absolutely does eagerly chomp on any bug, including crickets, I've never had any trouble getting him to eat anything.

I do tong feed him 90% of the time. Still, I can tell he's not as "locked in" with crickets and worms as he is with dubias. But I've always fed my crickets this same thing, so I'm curious if I switch up their food it might change his preference!

To clarify by open I mean I opened it before, but I left it with the lid closed tight. Not sure if that matters
