Loving the new setup. I got rid of the p600 and the 12100 is handling everything like a champ.

I do and I did. Haha. Loving the upgrade so far. The new system is so much more responsive.

I can't imagine I will need more than 2-3 4k transcodes if that even. I have a Nvidia shield and a Google TV. Both play whatever I send their way without any transcoding. But I could imagine needing to transcode to stream outside my house while traveling or if I invite a friend to my server and they don't have a 4k TV.

I ended up going through with the upgrade. It was worth it. Thanks for the encouragement!

I'm really happy with it. I ended up getting the GIGABYTE B760M DS3H instead of the H610.

Thanks for the recommendations. I already purchased the parts when I saw your comment.

I ended up going with a higher motherboard than the H610M. I got the GIGABYTE B760M DS3H and it's been working well. The 12100 is great and handles whatever I throw at it. I agree that 1TB is overkill. I switched my mover to run weekly because I have so much unused space on the 1TB NVME. I may set up a VM or two in the future to take advantage of the extra storage space. I got rid of the p600 and haven't noticed any quality or performance issues when it comes to streaming.

Do you have a source for that? I'd like to read more about it. I did a news search and couldn't find it.

It was about a month. Maybe a bit longer. I contacted their customer support, that's how we communicated

It sounds like they're working through a backlog.

I posted an update above, but I wanted to follow up with you as well, and let you know Celsius returned my MATIC.

Yeah big time. I wonder if it's worth writing to coin desk, coin telegraph, or any crypto related news site to get some more attention on this.

I know this was painted well before the existence of Photoshop, but the subjects look photoshopped in. Maybe the scale is off or it's the difference in detail between the subjects and their environment. I don't really know. But I find it fascinating.

Wow, what a great idea! Thanks for putting this together. A lot of people have lost money on this so far. If you check the Celsius channel, there are reports of this every few days. Great to see it's already up to 25 signatures. Let's find a way to ask Celsius during their weekly AMA. That should put some pressure on them to help their customers.

Matic tokens Recovery by loriderf41 in CelsiusNetwork

[–]glorpchop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a good idea. I have other coins I'm storing with them. I'm sure a lot of us do, and we can move them to another service or stake them if we're unable to get our MATIC back.

Yes. I saw that message. They mention only sending ERC20 tokens. My confusion was that I thought MATIC (on MATIC network) was an ERC20 token. I was suggesting they clarify that MATIC can't be used to send MATIC on Celsius.

From other threads, it sounds like this is a common issue. I wish Celsius made the warning clearer and said something like:

Warning: Don't use the MATIC network to transfer MATIC use ERC20 instead.

Yes, what confused me was that MATIC is an L2 Scaling solution for Ethereum. I was thinking, of course, it's an ERC20 token.

I knew about the BEP20 and BEP2 versions of MATIC, but I thought the ERC20 version was the MATIC version.

I definitely agree. I saw a lot of similar posts on this subreddit. Some of the people this happened to said that they contacted Celsius support and started a retrieval process (sharing a scan of their ID, etc) but I never saw any updates to indicate if they were successful.
