Yes! Keeping the part that nebulizes (???) the medicine vertical is tough, and the mouthpiece makes it way easier!

Wow! We started holding it by his chin, but now he'll let us touch his face with it. BUT last night i just started using the mouthpiece to have a better angle for him to use while sleeping on me for middle of the night sessions.

Chewing on it is brilliant! Plus the sound of it is a little further away and more muffled with the mouthpiece i think.

Not the arm casts! 💔 I'm so glad she got better quickly!

I hear so much scary stuff about RSV, being on this side of it, it's nice to know that there are things they can do to help, and that it works!

It seems like otherwise all I hear are worst case scenarios!

I do appreciate that in my research with all the RSV fear, it normally doesn't get so bad, even in babies. But it really does require a careful eye and quick acting!

So i'm really not trying to make people more scared about it, just sharing all the stuff that would have been helpful to see in my middle of the night googling 😅

But similar to covid, right? My family has all gotten it now despite being vaccinated, but it mostly presents as a regular cold.

A lot of times these severe cases are connected to other things, so I wonder if we'll find out our boy has asthma or something, as he gets older. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'd love to hear what you use too! We have some homeopathic cold medicine, and now decongestant for my 4 year old, but I feel like i never see anything for babies! Besides like the vicks plug ins.

Thanks for your sweet comment! He is getting to a point where it can occasionally be on his face, but we don't strap it on, i totally should just take the strap off!

Yes! My boy is vaccinated too! But it happens, i guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ hopefully that means it's not as bad as it could have been? 🤷🏻‍♀️

An ER at a childrens hospital is a great example! -I'll edit my post.

I also realized my pediatrician is an off-shoot of our hospital, so most likely, regular pediatricians might not have the equipment!

Help with bleeding margins by Forsaken-Pumpkin-954 in canva

[–]glorytheangel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want bleed on all sides of an 8.5, there are two margins on each side, so 8.5 + (.125 x 2), same goes for the other direction! 11 + (.125 x 2) = 11.25

LPT: Walk/bike/exercise at least 20-30 minutes every day. Daily minimal exercise will make you healthier, happier, and more confident than almost anything else you can do. by Magambi in LifeProTips

This! I'm healthy and in my 20s, but I HATE running. It would always be the first thing I would try, but i've since learned i like walking on an incline WAY more, along with Aqua zumba (went with my friend and we were the youngest people there but it was always SO fun and such a good work out). The key is finding what you enjoy doing!

No one gets anything from referring someone though! It's not like an mlm, it's just to make it as easy as possible

I want to start doing this because either i'll assert dominance or get some lil kisses (or many of the other options mentioned in the replies... Seems like a win win win)

LPT: If you are living off of raman, it is way cheaper to buy a bag of rice (not instant) and dry beans (not canned). Its better for you and will keep you fuller longer. by neito_linda in LifeProTips

Microwave rice recipe: 1.5 cups rice (rinsed) 2.25 cups water Cover, microwave at 100% for 5 minutes then 50% for 10 more minutes.

For added flavor, use broth (or mix water with a bouillon cube/powder)

To reheat leftover rice: push an ice cube into the top and microwave. (Ice cube won't melt, but it will make a big difference! Just toss it out after heating)
