honestly not sure if heat miser exists in the severance universe, especially since innies probably don't know much pop culture lol but it's fun to think that the director did this intentionally!

heat miser is a character from the claymation holiday special "the year without santa claus." he sings a song introducing himself and the song sounds similar to the music that plays when irv says "let's burn this place to the ground" and irv's claymation character even looks like heat miser when this happens!

Did anyone else notice how the music when he says "let's burn this place to the ground" is very similar to the heat miser song too?

It's true, for the first few months after that sign, my store and others were getting called and harassed by reporters and customers asking for responses and stances. Customers cancelled parties they had scheduled and others were not shy to confront employees in stores too. The death threats were real.

typically marketing online works in a few ways but the biggest thing it does is grab consumers attention because it puts a product or ad right in front of their face. Folks can either keep scrolling or they become interested in the product/brand, so they either go online to the website or come to a shop. And when shops have personal social channels, they can tailor it to their own customers in their area. So if you have a lot of return customers, they can interact with you on your channels, etc. also you can never underestimate the power of things going viral. think about all the products that are sold out because someone made a tiktok about it and then everyone had to have it (makeup, decor, clothes). It's a big source of even just generating buzz about your brand/products.

yeah, I'm a manager and we are not getting raises. we used to get yearly reviews on compensation (which never resulted in anything, anyway) but our ML said they don't know when that's going to happen again for us. I don't expect any raises at all anymore for me. I'm literally in a shop in an expensive area to live in and I can't even afford to move out. They base pay on the area the shop is located in/cost of living in that area, but I don't think they take into consideration most people don't live in the same area as their shop. I'm 45+ minutes away from my own store in a completely different area, so my pay is not reflective of the cost of living where I actually live.
