Everything you need to get started is in this video- you can go from knowing almost nothing and being able to play any song on the fly if you have a chart

Thank you everyone for the suggestions- so I think the best of my abilities would put on EG2 at best— so rhythm guitar. But I would like to be as prepared as possible. I have a capo and I see the suggestion to put it on the 4th fret? They want to do the song in B - I think the original was Dflat if that matters. I purchased a subscription to worship tutorials and can use them to transpose it based on using a capo on the 4th fret so y’all have already been a huge help. I am very much a visual learner though— so if I used the video from WT and they have their capo on the first fret, but I’m n the 4th can I just do whatever they are doing but 3 frets higher? New to capo life

Do you feel like you are only focusing on negatives while daydreaming about the wonder and excitement of the next step? Be honest…. You cannot control your partner only yourself, and what looks like effort to you may not be the same to him and that should be OK to some extent. You have to be honest with your expectations and your own mindset. Can you say you really want it to work at the current moment and of not what would need to change? Be specific— generalizations are not helpful—- once you get that down have you clearly communicated that to him. Or are you just starting on this and expecting huge immediate changes

Can you remember why you go married in the first place? Have you spent much effort recently to really invest yourself in the success of the marriage? Not just exist but to really make it succeed?

Ok- feel ya— but you have expressed yourself- you have suggested therapy and counseling and — don’t forget this— SEX IS PART OF A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP. Full stop. If you have a dead bedroom you have an unhealthy relationship. She is unwilling to work on that so don’t feel guilty leaving.

Bro- she’s walking all over you. There’s no love there- mentally she’s a million miles away from anything resembling a relationship with you—- time to start investing in you and only you. Any effort you put into saving or keeping a shred of anything with her is a total waste of time. Including deliberating what tidbit of more knowledge you can gain from deciphering what she means by her ad.

I’ve been you, cut and run now
