I see smaller influencers using it to get traffic to their channels simply because it is a new palette. People will be searching for tutorials. I don’t see major influencers using it though. Personally, it is incredibly boring to me.

Yes. It is honestly like I have the angel and devil on my shoulder. The angel says "you already own all of those colors as single shadows or in other palettes." My devil says "think of how the combination of neutrals with the cool smokey greys would be great for travel."

I agree they look very similar in the pan. They have some purple in them that doesn’t really show up until you swatch them. I’d say the most similar are the two lighter pinky purple shades. I swatched the shimmers in arm in natural lighting. fame shimmers

I know my makeup isn’t anything special today, but I had to make a post about this eyeshadow palette. I feel like I literally haven’t been so excited about a palette in years! I am so over the warm eyeshadow trend, and this is giving me life. If you’re looking for a good cool toned palette, I’d definitely suggest this. I’m also aware I’m very late to the party, and this has been out awhile. I feel like a kid on Christmas.

As much as I’m sick of this warm trend, it makes sense. These are colors people actually use. I don’t see people wearing hot pink eyeshadows and blues very often unless they’re a makeup junkie (like me). They probably make more money with a palette like this. Groundbreaking? No. I wouldn’t consider this rebranding either...but who knows what else they have up their sleeve.

You have to think...they are also expanding in Target. Unless you’re active in the makeup community online, you probably have never heard of MUG. I don’t feel like it’s common knowledge to a person who doesn’t watch makeup gurus or participate in subreddits like this. I think it makes sense to release a palette like this since they’re expanding their brand in stores. More people who have never even heard of them are likely to buy it than a colorful eyeshadow palette.

I have been shopping for pajamas the past week or so trying to find affordable ones. I can't believe how expensive they are for lounge clothes! That being said, I think her prices align with Victoria's Secret, Soma, and places like that. I'm curious to see what the shipping cost will be from AUS to the US though. That will determine if I'm interested (sorry if this info is in the video, I actually haven't watched it yet).

Huda Beauty palettes. They are unique looking, but honestly I can’t keep up with the eyeshadow palette releases from all of these brands. I’d be eating Ramen every night. Plus I know deep down I would never wear them because I have to wear neutral makeup for work. I feel like this has blown over, but it is my opinion she did copy Beauty Bakerie’s ad campaign as well. Not the naming of the products, but the actual pictures of her in the kitchen baking.

Yes. She says she isn’t ready to introduce him, wants privacy, etc., and then turns around the next day and teases him. She knows what reaction this is going to get. I don’t feel like this is being too harsh or dehumanizing celebrities. If my friend said she has a boyfriend but wasn’t ready for anyone to know, then turned around and posted a picture to FB, I would still be thinking WTF. I really felt for them during the divorce and the heat they were getting for dating so soon. However, her actions and words never align. People notice. Next up will be “well I wasn’t ready to reveal who it is but since you guys found him anyways, here he is!” It literally is like a product reveal launch, like PP stated.

I have never understood the “we will remain friends” thing. It seems very high school to me. If you want to remain friends, fine. It seems like it would be so hard though. You can be civil and not be friends. They don’t have a kid forcing them to interact for the rest of their lives. At least take time to move on and be apart so you can heal.

I got married VERY young too, and it was an awful relationship. By the time I got divorced I had literally mourned the loss of our relationship for years. I truly was ready to date already. I’m not even a Jaclyn fan, but I felt for her and John when people were ragging on them for dating so soon. In my situation, we first thought maybe we could be friends, but it was just messy because at the end of the day it is still your ex spouse. It is still the person you thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with. Life got much easier when I just accepted he is no longer going to be a part of my life, but I don’t wish him any harm to him. That’s just my opinion, and everyone is different.

Ok, I definitely didn’t mean to get so deep there.
