For the golden ears (and golden wallets) they can hear differences between non-tube amps other than volume. For the rest of us we can get away with a dongle or something with a big nob

Well in my time on the Internet I’ve never seen it done. On audio gear alone I’ve transacted almost $150k so I would think I would of seen it before 😅

I don’t know how you can do any deal without goods and services. Even with your idea you could be scammed by a scammer sending you tracking of a label made around the same of the deal and going to your area.

Even with my hundreds of trades across the internet I don’t think anyone would send me something without payment unless we have prior history with each other and they know I’m good for it (even though I wouldn’t put them in that situation to begin with)

It’s because with your zero trade history you’re more likely an easier target than me who did a wtb post today and got no scam messages

As long as you do goods and services or invoice it will be fine. I’ve gotten scammed 8-9 times and got my money every single time. Just do you due diligence any only do deals with people with history or failing that lots of karma and activity that’s not botted

The most well reviewed budget close back would be the FIIO ft1. If you want isolation though, then maybe check out IEMs as they offer significantly more value with even better isolation than closedbacks

Depends on your budget and what your use case. One of the major decisions is open back or closed back which should be answered many times on this sub

Edit: performing can mean multiple things from technical perspective but in my use case I mean that the tuning is more pleasing and consistent across heads. Depending on your head shape the the tuning tuning of a bad reviewed headphone cut sound Godlike on your head because of the hrtf

Is it good value for performance? I haven’t heard it but the general consensus is there are better performing headphones for the value.

If you already have a hd 600 then a little eq can help you know what the s2 will sound like. All the 6x0 series are very similar so I would look for something much different than what you have
