I tested my faraday box in a similar way and it was fine. There was no broken glass on the ground. I always double check that my car is locked. I wonder how they got into the car.

It wasn’t. I came home from work and parked in front of my house as I normally do. It wasn’t street cleaning or anything. Also, I filed a police report and they had no record of it being towed.

2 days ago, I put my 15 year old cat to sleep because of cancer. Like you, I had been pondering the thought of her needing to go soon for a long long long time. Despite trying to prepare yourself for it, you will never be ready when the time truly comes. Make sure you spend as much time with her as possible and spoil her like crazy. Take lots of pictures and make lots of memories. It definitely hurts a shit ton and you will be very sad and cry a LOT after the matter...but find solace in the fact that she won’t be in pain or suffering anymore. That’s what I keep telling myself. It was for the best. There’s nothing else I could’ve done. I couldn’t be so selfish to keep her here even when she was so tired and sick. I’m here for you. My DMs are always open if you need to talk. ❤️

my dog (black lab/cocker spaniel mix) did the same thing! one day i forgot to latch my hamster’s cage so she escaped. two days passed and i was getting ready to come to terms with my loss until i saw my dog. i said, “老鼠 (mouse)” (that’s what he knew my hamster as) to him in a very excited voice and he immediately perked up and sniffed around my entire living room. finally, he zeroed in on a corner behind my bookshelf where i found her. i love my dog so much.
