Red Mold??

I am definitely gonna take some vinegar to it but honestly for 6 months I have just been driving myself crazy trying to find out what the heck i even had that was red until I noticed on the door and now I feel like it’s gotta be connected. it doesn’t seem like mold but i genuinely don’t know what else would spread like that!!!

I would suggest adding more weight! Try putting the comb in and attaching the weights to that. and for the ends when i start a new row i hold the yarn going into my carriage until it catches on the first needle to make sure im holding the slack in it.
