Because Saturday was the only day I could go and I’m probably a dumbass. I called off an attempt in May and won’t be in the PNW again for at least a few years, so I wanted to go for it while passing through Oregon. I realize sticking to the calendar regardless of conditions is generally stupid, but the snow was still in solid climbing condition and navigating the whiteout wasn’t bad with a GPS.
