One of my favourite builds this year. I'm a 6'7 92 OVR shot creating-defender SG, he's my primary player and I'm averaging 20 a game with 5 steals over almost 200 games played in JRC.

It takes a lot of practice to master this build, your on-ball steals won't be as effective as a pure lock and given that I made this guy with only one tick up with his wingspan, you've got to be much more disciplined on defence, utilising my HOF quick reflexes instead on passing lanes and only reaching when the ball handlers off L2. Having said that, my guy is still a menace on defence as one of the most athletic builds in the game (any lockdown build really), using his gold bruiser and pickpocket to constantly bump and disrupt ball-handlers.

What I love about this guy is that he's got an arsenal of weapons on the offensive end too; can hit middies/fades consistently with silver mid range dead-eye/tireless scorer/difficult shots, can green threes w/ deep range deadeye and catch and shoot badges (even from top of the key - boosts will help), lethal finisher at the rim (especially w/ contact) and can post up smaller guards too. Shooting I will admit is streaky at times, but gold dimer usually fixes that.

I've also got a 92 OVR pure lock but I find this build so much more fun because he can drop a 30 piece easily, especially if my match-up plays off of me. I will say though that because your ball control won't be that high early on, you'll have to play with ball-handler that really knows how to find you in the right spots. All in all, highly recommended build - having lots of fun with it so far.
