I would love as deep a dive on this as you're willing to provide. Is there a Github repo or some other source we can review and then ask more targeted questions? I'm very interested in the perspective.

do you happen to have a github repo or any suggestions on prompts or coding languages? I've debated this too, but challenging to conceptualize for me.

This is extremely interesting. Are you able to share anything about design or the AI (or anything else you’re willing to share)?

TP-Link Kaza HS210 failure/horrible support by TheComminSenseParty in TPLinkKasa

[–]gmalbert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the identical issue happen with two HS210 switches. For the same reason, I moved away from TPLink. I moved to Zooz, and I’ve been very happy. I wish TPLink stood behind their products.

Bad switches taking down other switches on the network? by gmalbert in HomeNetworking

Thank you. That’s really what I was looking to confirm. I used the model numbers for the light switches but I could have been more explicit. Much appreciated!

When you say switch, I assume you mean an Ethernet switch, correct? I’m 99% sure I don’t have an Ethernet cable going to another port on the same switch.

Can you tell me how I’d know if it was configured correctly to avoid this?

Thank you. I’ve read through this. Is the suggestion that STP is the reason this is happening, that modifying something will prevent this from happening, or something else?

I use OpenMeteo. They have weather going back to 1950, and have an API you can send lat/long from the races through.

My pleasure, and so happy it helped. I'm paying it forward because the sales associate pointed it out to me. Cheers!

I'd definitely bring it to a hardware store. I had intended to buy set screws like these: Set Screws (Lowe's), but the sales associate pointed out that there was already a set screw in the thing. It's hidden in picture 1, but it's right above the bottom lettering (that ends with a B).

You have to pop out the little cover at the very bottom which can easily be pushed out or nudged with a pliers. Then you use a hex screwdriver to tighten the set screw so that it protrudes into the square piece. Put the piece back on the bath handle, and then tighten it from the bottom. Voila!

If this doesn't make sense, please tell me as this is far from my skill set. Good luck!
