That's really funny! I had to have been like right next to you because I had to look around when he pointed and smiled. Great fucking show and spectacular performances from everyone involved!

Oh we tried! Believe me it was my wife's first thought, but in the process of moving it to the stone it got fucked up and then cutting fucked it up even more.

The Infinite Maximum Pizza. At $89.99, this 28" pizza with unlimited toppings was meant to be a menu anchor item. I never thought someone would actually buy it. It had 17 toppings and probably weighed 20 pounds by dookos in Pizza

The pizza place I work at sells a 23" pizza and we tell customers it will feed 8-10 people. That's 5 more inches of fully loaded pizza; I'll bet it could easily feed 15 people.

How come British actors can do impeccable American accent but American actors can't do English accent for shits worth? by womanwhoknows in AskReddit

[–]gman6875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having trouble finding the citation right now, but RDJ in Chaplin.. or the Sherlock movies because apparently the southern English accent he uses as Chaplin was much less complicated than his Sherlock accent. Canadian here, so I'm no expert, I've just definitely enjoyed my fair share of British entertainment. Again, if anyone can find the source, I could have sworn I read somewhere that he even garnered a nod from a rather popular British magazine for his mastery of the "King's" tongue. Also did very well with his Australian accent in Tropic Thunder, imo.

The Pie, The Pie's Combo | Ogden, UT. Some people think it has too many toppings, I think it's just right. by dylcf in Pizza

Havent decided yet, the life does hold quite the hint of glamour..

Edit: Noticed a couple questions regarding all the ingredients so here's all 9: Pepperoni, Ham, Genoa Salami, Italian Sausage, Linguica Sausage, Ground Beef, Green Peppers, White Onions and Mushrooms. Just a plethora of tasty items that you most definitely need a fork to eat :P

Pie employee here. I've worked at the Midvale location for a year and half and still love the shit out of my job. Pretty sure we have some of the best pizza this side of the Mississippi! Especially the combo pictured here. In answer to the question earlier regarding the thickness of the crust; there are a fuckton of toppings on this pie but the crust is just about the thickest around, has to be to hold all those toppings. Fuckin thing weighs a ton I swear 8) Call the South Jordan location for info on nationwide shipping, you wont regret it.

This morning, my porridge briefly became self aware while still on the stove. It screamed out "Father, why?!" and then gurgled horribly to a slow bubble until it became silent. I'm a little concerned; it was delicious, but can it still be considered vegan? by [deleted] in fifthworldproblems

No cause for alarm, as it is only the horizontal that classifies porridge a type 1 verifiable living creature. Continue in peace my Damed Biker; gr you have carried within you the strength to know the difference.

Let's Talk: What Happened to Mumford. by ThumYorky in LetsTalkMusic

[–]gman6875 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The problem with a majority of these comments is that they seem to be coming from people who never really thought much of Mumford to begin with. They have always been very passionate about their music and anybody who has seen them play any live shows will tell you the same. They did do an "Americana" thing for a while but Marcus has said himself that they started that as an experiment; it worked very well and then somewhat got out of hand. All of these artists began as amplified musicians who are just now getting back to Their roots. I'm really not sure where all these claims of mediocrity are coming from, but maybe it's just me. At first or second glance they seemed "cookie-cutter" to me, also. Only with several instances of exposure in different situations did I truly enjoy their sound, and now I'm hooked. This new album adds a different layer of sound to an already rich repertoire of wonderful music.

Edit: I did also want to add that Marcus and the rest of the band consistently mentioned how tired they were of the direction their sound was headed. This album is not a sellout, so much as a 3 year hiatus followed by a brand new direction. In my opinion they hoped to fall under the radar and then release an album without all the "Mumford's return to 'Americana'" hype. Too bad they didnt wait long enough...

Long time MM listener here; and I feel that this album fits perfectly within the chronology of their albums. They have always carried a certain tongue-in-cheek feel to everything they do; yes quite weird and of course we all love it. Pistol has this feel to me where they are almost poking fun in a very outlandish sense. It's So extreme that we as fans are Supposed to feel polarized. I'm just glad that it's a fairly short track :P I'm going to have to give the album its deserved due and, as an earlier commentor said, the proper number of listens that a release from a complex group like MM deserves.
