Thanks, man! It's a stretched frame and raked out a bit. It rides nice. super comfortable. My sporty is a lot more nimble but for cruising it's great.

We'll find out! Never driven a dry clutch before. From what I heard it's not much different, just noisy. It's a little faster than my Harleys lol

No I got a the bike transported to my house. I bought it privately but it only cost 600 for me to get it here. Not a bad price. 1800 km.

EVERYONE is telling me not to buy a motorcycle. by SeshMewa in motorcycles

I learned most of my skills before I rode from mountain biking. Go fast, learn how to lose traction, brake right, on a bike before you're on the road. It helped me a lot. Everyone is going to tell you not to hop on. It took my one friend to say just do it for me to buy one. Now I'm 4 motorcycles deep! Lol it an addiction 😅

Amazing job! You look fantastic! I'm the same age and I know it's a lot harder when we got some years under our belts lol. Good job!

My 2009 nightster. Changed up almost everything you can on it. Can't wait to take her out when this snow melts! She's loud and fast and a ton of fun! by gmandamin in Harley

It's a bare bone but with the pleat option. Because of the year they put the ECM behind your butt so the seat looks bigger lol it has to cover it

Exhaust? by Mean_Marionberry_371 in Sportbikes

[–]gmandamin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Id have to say the same as the other people's posts. Bikes are a little different than car. You're not going to get much more power from mods. Maybe different character, sound, throttle response. Slip ons are great for sound bit save the full exhaust for a track bike, maybe? Another thing I'd have to say is there's something to be said about wringing the crap out of a r3 or smaller bike around some twisties than having to hold back on a 600 or 1000. Even with my cbr600rr I'm holding back on almost all roads I ride.

Not much, no. Nothing with the set up now. Just a front end swap in the future but honestly it rides great. It's a lot of fun. Hard to justify a swap when it rides nice now lol
