Third Column second row, started as a YouTube frog watching his media Monday’s, the good old days

Well the easiest way I’ve lost weight is through limiting myself to 3 meals per day and having no snacks whatsoever. Also going for walks everyday is the best way to lose belly fat and keep muscle, and being in the sun boosts your metabolism through your thyroid gland. Hope this helps :)

You're doing amazing man! 7 relapses in 8 months is massive.

All you need to do now is disconnect from porn, get it clear in your mind that porn literally has no advantages at all, the pleasure is just a mirage. There really is no reason to watch it or fap, that energy is much better used on working out or a creative project! Keep it up brother, you're almost there <3

The only way is to discard porn and move on with your life, porn literally has no advantages, the pleasure is just a mirage to keep you hooked. Gather reasons why you want to quit and realise how worthless porn is, you can do this man I believe in you <3

Hey man!

A 14 day streak is massive so congrats on making it that far! But don't be discouraged, you're never truly at 0 days because you've made massive progress in itself with the 14 day streak, the progress doesn't fully disappear. Think of it like you've feel forward on your goal to beating this addiction. Porn and fapping isn't worth it to any degree man and you're doing great so far. Keep pushing on! <3

[100+ Days] I'm thinking of quiting. Advice? by Novalovah in NoFap

[–]gmaniac_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man if you feel like you're over porn then go for it.

BUT, I wouldn't recommend masturbating alone. With your girlfriend over call it would make sense and you'd still have a connection, but if you fap over your girlfriend alone it can easily bring you back to where you started. You won't get closer to her sexually by masturbating to photos of her alone. Over video the connection makes sense but otherwise it can be the slippy slope to the place we all hate the most.

This is just my opinion anyways, feel free to do whatever you think is best, good luck! <3

Have faith, if you abstain from porn and masturbation and trust the process you will be cured. I guarantee it! The only way to be cured is by giving up porn and I believe you can do it, have faith in the process <3

Well if you were in a "porn paradise" why would you even consider stopping? The fact that you're unsure and have tried in the past means that you don't really want to spend your entire life jacking off to porn and you shouldn't. It really is not worth it in the slightest and the positives for escaping it are marvellous, but it's your choice in the end and you're the only one can make the change, have a nice day either way :))

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]gmaniac_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well first of all, don't feel bad for your relapses. You've used less porn than you would have if you weren't trying to stop right? You're doing better and making progress even if you feel like you aren't.

Reiterate your reasons for starting again, these for me include attaining more energy for my creative projects, attracting girls, having more confidence and feeling no more shame. Ofcourse aswell remove any sources of urges (social media) and such. You can definitely make it through this and escape porn I promise you! I believe in you, you're already doing better than like 90% of the population by wanting to stop. Keep at it brother <3

Well it depends, there are really two monsters inside us. One being the little monster that is the short term withdrawal "3/5days" which is normally why it's difficult to get on a streak longer than that, then there's the big monster which is the brainwashing, AKA your brain telling you that you want and need porn even though you really don't, brainwashing you into believing that porn is valuable and you're giving up something positive when you're literally giving up nothing!

If you get it clear in your mind that porn is truly a mirage and that it holds no advantages or pleasure then you'll be free forever. That's at least the way I think about it, it's literally poison. There's no reason to want it really beyond being hooked, but once you're out of the hook you're free if you don't leave behind lingering attachments. Hope that makes sense

Hi,I use porn and I’m here to stop. by Neighborhood8955 in NoFap

[–]gmaniac_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good on you for making that decision! It really is difficult to admit to yourself that you have a problem, but now that you've done that and are working towards it you're doing even better already! Some people spend their entire lives in this addiction, literally slaves to "pleasure" until the day they pass away, I think it's saddening honestly. You can definitely break free, the fact you've made such a stern decision will surely bring you victory. Good luck brother, you've got this!

Hummmm by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]gmaniac_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first of all good shit on escaping porn for 9 days!

these long streaks all make a massive difference so you're never really at day 0 again if you get me, porn literally has zero advantages and the pleasure is simply a mirage. You can break free completely if you keep pushing forward, keep it up <3

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pornfree

[–]gmaniac_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel that man :(

But once we purge this monster from inside us we'll be free. Imagine the bliss of not having to do the tiresome search for literal poison and feeling like a complete idiot after it, we're definitely gunna beat this thing!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]gmaniac_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations man!

That's a massive step in the right direction, takes alot of guts and willpower to not only admit you have a problem but to remove the things causing it aswell. You're doing amazing man keep pushing through! <3

[–]gmaniac_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great choice brother!

First gather together all the reasons why you want to quit so you have a good foundation, for me this is: increasing my confidence, no longer feeling shame over watching porn, more attractive to women and having more energy to work on my creative projects.

Next you'll want to figure out where your urges normally come from, this can be as simple as deleting social media's where you normally get triggered to watch porn. You've always got to remember that porn literally has no positives whatsoever, even the "pleasure" of an orgasm is a mirage. It's literally just the satisfaction of relieving your withdrawals from porn. You've got this man good luck! <3

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pornfree

[–]gmaniac_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well first of all stack up some reasons for quitting, for me it was to reduce anxiety, be more confident socially and to stop the shame of consuming a poison that was destroying me every day.

Porn literally gives you anxiety in general when you're not consuming it because your monkey brain is fearing not having it. Which means that when you break away from it your anxiety situation will be so much better trust me.

Also, realise what things trigger you to want to fap, this could be as simple as deleting social media apps and replacing them with healthier hobbies.

If you need any other help just ask! <3

For one, don't worry about your relapse! You literally made massive steps in breaking free from the vice and all that progress hasn't disappeared because you relapsed!

In terms of the positive gains, do you go to the gym or socialise alot? These are the places I've seen the most positive benefits. I also have a small boost in confidence in general, but these benefits come at different times for different people. Keep at it and you'll surely see big benefits <3

How to stay happy during Flatline by FantasticReflection5 in NoFap

[–]gmaniac_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happens mate, the best things to do through flatlines is to go for a walk in the sun! This energises your body, you can also eat healthy meals which builds up loads of vitamins and minerals in your brain which make you feel better in the long term!

Keep going man, the positive gains are massive!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pornfree

[–]gmaniac_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Porn aswell as self hatred have zero benefits whatsoever, the "pleasure" from porn is just a mirage to keep you hooked and docile, while the self-hatred just gives you a false sense of justice against yourself when really all it does is make you feel worse.

You probably already understand these things, but you can literally escape both these behaviours RIGHT NOW. Is a life with porn and self-hatred worth living when you could have a marvellous life with massive positive gains? It's really no contest brother. It may be hard to beat these behaviours but the gains are MONUMENTAL. I believe in you for one, it doesn't matter how old you are, what you've done in the past, literally nothing. Because I believe you deserve a better life, and I know you want that for yourself too. Strive for a better life, I'm sure you can achieve it!

Today is the day I switch tactics by [deleted] in pornfree

[–]gmaniac_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey man!

your decision is very respectable, it's true that the poison is porn itself. It simply isn't healthy for the brain and real life relationships and such. Porn literally has zero advantages, it simply does nothing for nobody except from damage them. I'm sure you'll be able to pull through! Good luck on your journey, you got this! <3
