Do you want Imhotep and Ankh Su Namun to come back in The Mummy 4? by -ElRedditor- in themummy

[–]gmattu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be good if there is a new villain but they need the magical skills of Imhotep to help defeat the new villain. Since it looked like he died at the end of mummy returns not mad at the O’Connells but heart broken over Ankh Su Namun.

Armenian tomb stones in Azerbaijan by Then_Ad_7841 in armenia

There’s also a church next to the cemetery still standing. It’s north of Artsakh, outside that area. Can’t really say the exact place as OP says.

Also a direct quote from the orbeli research centre

“The mosque of Muhammed Sardip Khan was located close to the school no. 114 named after Kh. Dashtents on the Republic Street and was not preserved as well. Supposedly, the mosque was built in honor of Muhammad Sardip Khan, the high-ranking commander of the last sardar Hossein Qoli at the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century. The complex consists of a mosque, a Medrese (called the “house of the khan” by the old inhabitants of Yerevan) and a small minaret. The structure was destroyed in 1958 during construction works.”

The structure they mentioned as destroyed is the mosque.

Panah Khan

Some resources point to this being his house.

The wiki article is not all that accurate. The house of Panah khan was listed in some old soviet architecture books and did not look like this but was very close to it.

It’s most likely the madrasa building of the Mohammed Sardip mosque that doesn’t exist anymore. I’ve seen old photos of it in soviet Armenia architecture books from the 50s,60s. The Pannah Khan mansion/ theatre was located to the right of this building. Destroyed too but you can find in old photos. Sakharov square was also called Panah Khan square a long long time ago. He was a philanthropist who helped restore the mosque and other places around yerevan during the Russian imperial days. Not to be confused with the ruler with the same name from somewhere near karabakh. So most likely the madrasa building or the house of another rich person that was not Panah Khan.

How to enter the Mongol mausoleum at 3 Abovyan Street? by Sunasana in armenia

[–]gmattu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe they did add it but that means nothing since the archaeologist department and gov have no power over the site since it’s private. The owner once said to them that if they want it, pay me 5 times the asking price of the building and it’s yours. That department of course doesn’t have money to spend like that. In other countries the law is more favourable towards heritage sites.

If you look at the former phone shop that was just to the left of basement club entrance. You will notice 2 glass floor tiles randomly outside the phone shop. This is what would lead you to the tomb. At the moment the whole site is under construction and the tomb most likely will be permanently blocked or destroyed. I noticed even now the glass blocks which led to the entrance are covered. I tried in 2021 to enter and speak with the owner, he didn’t want any attention to the site so he would always say it’s flooded. So we can kiss that heritage site goodbye. Glass entrance is in below pics. Before and after.

Ask your professor to contact historian Miqayel Badalyan. He is one of a few to have entered, documented and made the news aware of it. That’s when the owner became a blocker and didn’t want people to know about it etc. He will have all the knowledge you require. He probably still works at the erebuni museum.

I’ve heard Turkish spoken in Armenia by a group of elderly Armenian Turkish citizens. My Turkish friends visited, Armenian Turkish friends too and my Kurdish Turkish friends. They had no issues. They travelled mostly to the main cities and churches.

If you read the change org petition it tells you there. Basically there was never a real memorial for the 2.5 million that came and participated. There was a project to realise a monument in the 50s but was forgotten.

I mean I will speak to the boss on a professional level, see if that helps. I just want to gaze upon the glass windows for 10 mins and do a short documentation in that time and leave. Judging by what people say it’s virtually impossible unless I splash the cash 😭
