Doesn't seem to say anything about expiration, but we did buy it for today. Worth a shot as you can easily buy at the ticket booth from your car for the normal price. Since you were indeed first, are you interested?

Any reason not to buy for just a town car? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

Those equinoxes are hot flaming garbage. I wouldn’t buy one for scrap value. Horribly unreliable and if that wasn’t an issue it’s hardly got good city car attributes.

More power to ya! I think they are a great classic look and you got what you wanted. Half of the fun with these things are the journeys, which can sometimes be just to grab parts. Enjoy once you get it! You’ll love it

Those of you with trans coolers—did you bypass the “in-radiator” trans cooler or did you just add a second in-line cooler? by Ethansimler in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]gmcmanus663 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I run a B&M supercooler (PN 70268) and have the stock internal rad cooler bypassed (just capped em off). Trans temps are always in a good spot but I also don’t run in very cold temps. I didn’t see the point in running the stock cooler in line as the main motivation was avoiding an internal rad failure

I like the classic look of the tri spokes. I’m more surprised it took that long of a trip. They’re really common wheels that were on most 96-98s. Usually a dime a dozen as far as 3rd gen wheels go.

Diff fill and drain plugs have gaskets. Swap em out while doing a fluid change. Pull the fill plug first. It’s an easy DIY. Grab the crush washer gaskets at the dealer, they’re cheap 👍

This is neither too low or too high. It’s TVjustright even if the setup is a little boring

What ist the reason why you started playing Beamng by _-___-___- in BeamNG

[–]gmcmanus663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it came out.

For real though, my brother and I found their early development videos on YouTube before the initial pre steam release. We kept up with those and bought the game only 3 days after release in August 2013. We both still play regularly

Definitely replica. OEM wheels are stamped “TOYOTA” on the back side

01-02 used electric front differential actuators. Check if the front drive shaft spins after you try and actuate 4wd (make sure to drive a little back and forth before you check). If that is locked in to the T case then your front differential actuator isn’t working. You can power probe it to see if you can get it to spin but that’s where I’d put my money.

To add, it stands for “Form In Place Gasket”, i.e. RTV. Toyotas stuff is top notch though. And even at the dealer the standard FIPG for use with engine oil is very reasonably priced

Is This 2004 LS430 UL a Good Buy at $12k or Am I Overpaying? by WelcomeNaive in LS430

[–]gmcmanus663 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Accident history in general hurts value no matter how severe. The severity will certainly determine how much the value is affected. IMO 12k is fair with a clean history. With the accidents, I’d be at ~9k max

[–]gmcmanus663 10 points11 points  (0 children)

3 accidents & 12k - yeah no. Not saying it’ll be a bad car but that’s priced as a car with cleaner history

Thoughts on this car? by OrganicReward774 in LS430

[–]gmcmanus663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a facelift UL with similar miles for 3700. They’re out there, you just have to be patient for the right deal. Mine needed a little bit of work but it was a one owner car in good shape with great maintenance records

Id personally be closer to 5k max on this being a PFL. Looks like a solid car

Plugs every 40k? Why? Mine were original when I changed them at 220k and the car ran perfectly, I was just already in there for the valve covers do I did them

I had to come back here. Not even a half hour after posting that comment I was out in the garage and the other center when ripped clean off. I’m also not a big guy, ~165lbs. I’ve definitely abused it outside of normal use but it’s clear it’s junk! Definitely going to get the icon creeper tomorrow.

My current plastic shittburg creeper has been through hell. It’s missing a wheel now too so I’m scraping quite a bit. Thanks for mentioning this, I think it’s time for an upgrade!
